Took Prof. Hartman in Spring 2017. He is a great teacher, funny, super caring, and kind. He really wants to help his students get the most out of the subject. Responds to his emails right away, very considerate and understanding. You won't be disappointed. I'd take him again anytime! He's an incredibly super nice, overall great teacher.

A good-mannered, helpful, and kind professor. Professor Hartman kinda like your cool baseball coach from high school. This class isn't all that difficult, but you will need to put in a good amount of effort if you want to pass.

Had a bit of issues with the Mastering program used for this course however, Professor Hartman was very understanding, answered emails right away super caring guy. 4 eassays and 3 timed multiple choice tests. A must take!! Took this class over summer no regrets! Take Him!!!!

I was having technical difficulties logging into the course site during the first week and Mr. Hartman was incredibly helpful when it came to dealing with the textbook company and getting the issue resolved quickly. I took this class online over the summer and it was a piece of cake. Only 4 easy essays and 3 multiple choice timed exams. Take him!

Great professor, actually enjoyed taking his class it feels like a great guy is giving you good advice rather than just lecture you. Keeps the class going with lively and inviting questions and topics. would most def take again in another subject. You will leave his class with a conscious about healthy habits!

I'm glad I took this class. As long as you read (skim) the textbook before each test, you will pass. As for the 'essays', they were pretty much just 10 short answer questions. Hartman made this basic health class very interesting, and I actually liked running, I'd take another class of his.

Mr. Hartman is one of the best teachers on the campus. He knows his stuff and loves his job. I really enjoyed taking this class. It doesn't hurt that he is funny and handsome. :)

Hartman is super straightforward about what he expects. The class consisted of 4 essays, and 3 exams. The answers for the essay questions are right in the book. The exams are all 100 multiple choice, but you only have 1 hour! Stay on top of the reading and you'll definitely get an A. If you fail this class, you shouldn't be in college.

Took health online and wasn't too bad. There's a lot of reading and you really have to study a lot. there are 4 essays which are easy and 3 exams. you get an hour to do 100 questions & can use book & notes but can't depend too much on them. I ended up getting a B in the class. It's a very easy online class to follow and would recommend to take it.

Mr. Hartman is a great professor! Super easy essays & all you have to do is follow the powerpoints he posts online. He really knows his stuff & loves to get the students involved in discussion. The only thing I wasn't a fan of: 4 100 question exams. Overall: loved the class! Mr. Hartman is really helpful & informative!

If you are a bio/science major, this is the easiest class ever. Basically a review of what you've learned in every other science class. Never had to study, just used the power points for reference on exams (they are open note) and still pulled an A.

8-week online class wasn't bad - 4 essays, 3 tests. Tests were easy if you bothered to take notes, use your book, and look over his Powerpoints. My only gripe is that he seems to mark you down on essays for no reason. I consistently received 20/25 points for seemingly no reason. Would've received an A in the class if it wasn't for his grading.

Online class consists of essays and tests. I do not think he even read the essays, and the test were very hard. 60 minutes for 100 questions is not easy even if you read the chapters. Overall, the class was okay. Not easy, but not exactly difficult.

Online class was okay. Four essays which were easy and three tests that weren't. Even if you read through the looong chapters and write an outline like he recommends its impossible to get an A on the tests. He gives an hour time limit on the test which doesnt give you enough time to look up the needed answers.If it werent online it would be better

took online. very easy course. only homework was a few essays but gave online for essay which was just questions u had to write together in a essay. very easy. we also had a couple test and a final all online. must read book and know chapters. test were 100 question multiple choice and matching but he only gave 60 mins and dock 2 pts for every minute u went over. overall, i recommend this class and teacher. teacher answers emails fast.
