I look forward to his class all week! Doctor Sansom is everything you could ask for in a teacher; he is understanding, helpful, funny, easy-going, respected... just amazing! He cares about his students, and you can tell. I would take him for all of my classes if I could! WARNING: DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A KNOCK OFF CLASS.

Comment:

Prof. Sansom is a great English teacher, but you will have to work in his class. There is 4 essays to write and he wants you to become a better writer. He is not easy, but he is funny and respectful. Overall, pay attention to his feedbacks on the paper (and a tough grader on essay). He is very respectful, but you will work for a good grade.

I had Dr. Sansom for 1301 and specifically requested him for 1302. You could not find a better professor. What is he doing in a community college, I don't know. We lucked out. His classes are worth well more than $300. I learned so much and as long as you want to do well, he will make sure that you get there. It's tough and you have to be present!

Be sure to be attentive and responsive or he will get start calling on people. Do any assignments he gives. Especially the reading assignments, because if you don't he will get stressed out with you. Try to make it on time so you don't interrupt his lecture. If you do interrupt him he will stop and look at you till you make it to your seat.

Tough grader, but has really great lectures. He forces you to become a better writer. Only makes you write papers, and make sure to read the assigned writing before class or he'll roast tf out of you.

Prof. Sansom def. makes you work for your grade but will relax if you at least try. He will meet with anyone if they seek the help. Makes me laugh on a regular basis. Easy to understand. Gives concise feedback. Didn't take a test only wrote papers. I feel like a better writer thanks to him. Took 1301 & looking forward to taking 1302 with him too.

Only take him if you love English or you love to be challenged because you are required to read all the stories assigned because you might be quizzed or not and then you have 2 5g essay or 1 10pg essay. He may come as rough at first but thats to weed out the lazy people, just follow the syllabus and you'll do fine! :D

This teacher is so nice. I'd take him again if he was offering online classes. He told me "If you need help, come to me" next semester. I give this teacher so many points. Yes he makes it a little challenging but NOT ANY ENGLISH CLASS IS A BLOW OFF CLASS. Plus, he knows what he is doing. The book every1 gets for english is written by him!
