He is one of the professors who does important work in control community and has a diverse research portfolio. His courses follow one particular text book from first to last page. He has a lot of experience in teaching. A helpful person if you meet him in his office hours. If you're looking to specialize in Controls, you'll have to take his courses

Really smart guy. Horrible teacher. He couldn't explain how to get out of a paper bag. I pretty much taught myself everything. Avoid taking classes with him if possible.

Goes quickly through the material, but it still thorough enough to teach the concepts. If you have to meet with him in his office, be sure to bring him gatorade after he plays squash or he'll be sleepy!
