Nice, knows her stuff. However, her teaching style is not good for math at ALL - projecting all her information onto the wall at once instead of writing it out on a board like a normal person is quite annoying. Doesn't give you time to look over what she wrote before signing

Comment:

She is notorious for making mistakes which does not come in handy especially if you're taking remedial math (like in my case). Her errors will also mean that there is additional confusion especially among Shank and the TA. Another problem I had with Shank was her tendency to ignore me and/or look away while I was asking a question. AVOID HER!!!

Makes a lot of mistakes. She doesn't need to be teaching Calculus. She refuses to review homework to be sure everyone understands. She also ignores the people sitting on her right side. And if the homework is about finding slope, she would be teaching off the point about how to find the origins.

Sometimes makes mistakes, but it appears that she may be doing this on purpose? She is very agreeable when mistakes are pointed out to her. She made an office appointment with me, and helped me with some things I didn't get in class. I thought that was helpful.
