Comment:

I've learned more in her class than I have in four years of Spanish in high school. If you need help or are confused, she will gladly help you. I'm not very good at Spanish, but I was able to learn and understand the material. She also gives extra credit if you go to SI meetings. The SI leader, Lauren was great as well. She is very nice and helpful

Comment:

She is very nice. The classwork and homework is not hard at all. In fact, it's too easy. She follows the curriculum to a tee, which is why it is probably such an easy class. There is usually something being turned in every day, so I don't usually miss. And even if you do miss, she will give you all your missing work at the end of the semester.

She makes me hate life. I am sitting in her class and everyone is bored she does not know how to make class fun neither can she teach well. Plus, she never answers emails so forget emailing her for any questions.

Comment:

As a heritage spanish speaker, I was nervous to take my first academic spanish class. Prof. Tirado quickly inspired me to improve my spanish, this was the first time I regularly wrote and read in the language. Her class consisted of spelling tests, exams and homework and a project all in Spanish! It did take hard work but you will be fine.

Professor Tirado is a great profesor but she can appear quite disorganized at times. Her communication skills relating to emailing arent that great either but other than these two things she is a pretty good professor. She is very easy going and loves to help us if we dont understand something. Other than that her class is pretty easy.

She came off as unorganized to me. Her lectures are all over the place with no structure. Besides that it's an easy A. Show up and do the homework you'll be fine. Tests are easy. She pretty much corrects it on the spot and lets you try again before turning it in. Boring class but easy A.

Class is very simple. she gives vocab quizzes (easy) and mostly do workbook activities in class. There is only one presentation that you have to do about yourself. I dont like speaking in front of the class but it wasn't so bad.

Fun class and easy assignments. Homework and tests are held online. Three tests, few quizzes, one presentation, and a final. Class wasn't too difficult at all, however, I wasn't mentally challenged from the materials though. You don't need to try as hard as you expect. Show up to class, review materials, and complete 10 hours as early as you can.

Easy class if youre just trying to pass for a requirement, although DO NOT take her if youre actually trying to learn spanish. Her teaching is disorganized and she gets off topic often and you wonder why youre watching a movie/ video instead of actually learning spanish.

Honestly, one of the easiest teachers i've ever had. Give 1/4 of an effort and you will pass. Took her for Span 1 and 2 ,back to back (A's in both classes). She liked me and a lot of my classmates making it crazy easy. Both finals were online, do it with a friend. IF YOU WANT TO SERIOUSLY LEARN SPANISH DO NOT TAKE.

Professor Tirado was an amazing teacher. She uses various mediums to teach such as lectures, short films, and group activities. The homework and some tests are online and open book, spelling tests are closed book, and the presentation is short and fun. If you spend time studying, show up, and pay attention in class, you will definitely pass.

Really easy class, felt a bit like elementary work at times. I didn't feel challenged. Lenient on success center hours. Really friendly and helpful when needed, offers plenty of extra credit. If you get the chance, take this class, it can't hurt. So long as you attend, of course...

Professor Tirado is one of sweetest instructors I have ever had. She is helpful and encouraging. The homework is straight out of the textbook. Her quizzes and exams are fair. She makes sure you know what to expect on the tests ahead of time. She is lenient on homework due dates but you will struggle on tests if you don't stay on track.
