Sliva's hilarious! Of course he know's his jokes are corny, that's the point. I took Statistics with him and he made sense of it, somewhat. I just don't like stats. Boring material.

Okay, so yes. His jokes are remarkably corny, and his puns are even worse. But, he won't grade you down if you roll your eyes--he KNOWS they're bad. Just let him laugh at them himself, and enjoy the class. He knows his stuff, and his star parties are fun. Only complaint is overuse of online quizzing, etc, but they're OPEN BOOK. Can't complain.

His jokes are dumb, but his classes are fun and interesting. He is so very enthusiastic about the subject that it is hard not to be interested. Star parties were awesome, constant online quizzing was a little annoying. Overall, I would take classes with him again.
