Lovely, funny, lively, inspiring, and passionate. However, discussions are too long with little information gained. Appeals to emotion far more than science which undermines the value of information and can distract the class from core information. Tricky tests with content covered in the textbook but not necessarily in discussions.

LOVE Dr. Crumplin! One of the best professors I have ever had. You have to go to class, have to do readings, and have to participate. As long as you do those things you're guaranteed a good mark. He is such a knowledgable and inspirational professor. Upper year classes are all class discussion which is informal and you learn a ton! Amazing prof.

He is a very caring professor but Is easily insulted if you use technology in his class, don't do the readings, or don't participate. I liked his 3rd and 4th year courses much better than 1st and second. Attendance and participation is absolutely mandatory. Over all good prof but he is VERY slow at getting assignments marked and given back.

Mandatory attendance and readings, but great class discussions. Just show up, do the readings, and try to participate in discusissions (which are very interesting) and you'll do great! Wish I could take more of his classes, super helpful guy. End of semester he took the whole class to pub and bought up beer!

Best teacher I ever had! His class changed the way I was thinking and really motivated towards my future goals. I can't say I would be in the same position today. His classes had amazing discussions that really stimulated ideas and thinking.

I'm in his first year Environmental Studies class and his tests are very difficult. The material in his tests are very specific and hard to study for. But he has a good sense of humour and loves participation. Also, do not bring ANY electronics to class. He does not like that.

Very good teacher, great sense of humor which makes the class very interesting, he's very knowledgable. If you plan to skip class, dont bother taking it, its easy to do good in his class but you have to show up. I love the way he teaches so much that im taking two more of his classes this year. I recommend his classes to anyone in geography!
