Reading the book and knowing all of the info that will be covered before coming to class is a must. Then u will understand the material in-depth from his lectures. Great teacher but there is actually so much work in this class and u are competing for a curve w kids who will spend hours prepping just to come to class. The Tableau cases are impossibl

He is the best professor to take an accounting course from. He grades hard and makes the test extremely hard on purpose to differentiate the kids how know the material from the kids who don't. He is always there to help you if you need it. If you never know an answer guess Chipotle. I wish I can take more classes from him in the future.

Best professor I have had yet at OSU and probably the best I will have. Makes class interesting and engaging and TRULY cares about his students. Material can take some time to understand but he will help. Not an easy class, but well worth it. Exams are VERY tough, have to know the material. Doing examples and problems is the key to success.

Probably the best professor I've had at OSU. He's clear, concise, diligent, and knows when to break up monotony in the classroom with non-sequiturs. The midterms / final are very hard and often contain questions that you've never been asked before, but the class ultimately gets curved to a B+ anyway, so there's always that.

Great prof, VERY hard class. Don't take this class (or any in honors acct) with a full course load. This class will control your life. VERY hard to get an A. Zach is a great prof, but his tests are unfair. You'll study for hours on end and see something completely new on the test. And then the curve at the end of the qtr doesnt justify the effort.

Tzachi is fantastic. He's the best prof I've had at OSU. He keeps classes exciting by interjecting with jokes and off-topic rants randomly during lecture. He also knows the material very well and often explains things in unique ways so that they're more understandable. He definitely challenges you and you have to work hard, but it's worth it.

Great professor. He made such a boring subject interesting. His exams are hard, but do-able. Make sure you memorize stuff and know the concepts behind what you just memorized, because he likes to put twists on things.

This is a very enjoyable class Zach was absolutely one of my favorite professors. I learned a lot and was challenged. The exams and cases are tough, but I feel very prepared for more accounting classes. He was a very very funny guy.

Zach is more than a great professor. He was a faculty associate in Ruby, and an attendee of Thurtene Carnival and Kappa Karaoke. He cares about students, is great at teaching his subject, produces good research, and wants to see his students succeed. Too bad the Olin Business School administration doesn't.

Zach is a Borat wannabe, which gets old after the first week, but he does make the class entertaining and fun. He is very intelligent, and almost never makes a mistake. Make sure to look over a few practice problems in the book if you get confused in class, and do ALL the practice quizzes/exams. Watchout for tricky questions because he loves them.

Makes financial accounting worth waking up for (even for the early section)! Makes jokes, gets the entire class to laugh every day many times. Presents the material very clearly with lots of examples. Reading of the text book not a must but if you don't read be sure you know exactly what he means in class. Tests are hard but practices are posted.

This is a fantastic professor. He brings the world of accounting to life - even to the most unenthusiastic students. He fills his lectures with jokes and makes an effort to involve discussion.
