Abu is truly a dedicated professor. He cares about his students, even after they leave BCC. If you do the reading and pay attention, it's easy to receive an A from him.

Comment:

He has an accent so it's very hard to understand him especially in an economics class when hes just talking about numbers. He also talks to the white board a lot. Classes drag on forever. No breaks during a night class.

Comment:

Abu is the best teacher at BCC. His classes are very straight forward. He is a fair grader. He sometimes get off topic with his lecture but it usually makes class more interesting. He is hilarious! He calls himself the bad boy of BCC because he loves to stand up and fight for his students. He is a genuinely good guy.

Comment:

Some of the tests + material don't make a lot of sense and he can be difficult to understand at times. Gets off topic frequently but in a way that keeps the students interested. Would be better for smaller class size and more specific classes.

Comment:

It's important to read the material before the topic is discussed. Abu is "old school", as he reenforces the subject, rather than spoon-feeding it. He does at times digress from the subject, but pretty much stays with the book. Tests are based on 50% direct material from book (scantron) & 50% take home portion with practical examples of formulae

Abu's classes are dull, they drag on forever. He lectures the whole time. If you takes notes on the equations (so for maybe 5 min of class) you will do fine on the tests. Take home tests that are mostly multiple choice answers, but you need to really read through the book to get them right.

Gets off subject easily but alot of the stuff he gets off subject about is something somehow relating to what is going on in class. 1 in class test and the rest take home. Funny guy. Does not care about phones or laptops. Great teacher all around. I am taking him again!

Abu can get extremely boring. Your grade consists 100% of tests and they are difficult. Other than that many kids often skip class, bring homework or just use their phones. If you really put effort in on the tests and ask him questions you will do fine.

Has an accent but very funny and understanding if you miss a class.Some time's get off track talking about his family.Test are kinda hard.If u take all the notes he writes on the boad and read the book you should be fine.
