Super interesting. As soon as he played a clip from Spamalot on the first day, I knew I'd like the class. Super intelligent and has lots of passion for the subject. Tons of reading, especially primary sources from the Middle Ages, but manageable. Dr. Davis is a really nice guy who wants you to do well in his class.

Comment:

I went into this class being only vaguely interested in History, but Dr. Davis made it come alive. Our class discussions were always intellectually stimulating and going to class was always fun. The homework load was enough but not over the top as well. I highly recommend taking Dr. Davis's Origins of Europe class to fulfill your humanities GE.

Great guy who really wants his students to be as interested in the middle ages as he is. He sometimes gives you weird stares when you talk in class, but don't worry, it's just because he is trying to make sense of what you are saying. Definately a cutie!
