I had a lot of great excellent teachers at ECC and HE was not one of them. In my opinion he was not an educator.Indifferent toward his job. He has alot of CONTEMPT for students that ask him questions because he cannot answer them right and he knows it.

In my personal opinion people like Al who have know teaching degree should not be allowed to teach at at all. In my personal opinion, Al could not keep an electrical engineering job either, so he goes into teaching and could not do that job either. In my personal opinion no body gives up lucrative engineering job to teach!

Everyone saying he is a poor instructor is right, but only if you're a bad student. He will not hold your hand and tell you every single thing, he challenges you to THINK and that gives you a better education. He knows his**** backwards and forwards. I took him for granted, and even thought he was terrible at first. But now I respect him.

I disagree. He's OK at stuff he's been teaching for years, because he's thorough. His problem is he pretends like he knows about things in which he is completely unqualified. His scope is actually very narrow.
