In all my time at OU there has never been a professor, that I thought cared about me. That all changed when I met Professor P. I was never the best at multiple choice quiz's and she always said "I know you do your best" She drops lots of quiz's Read and you won't take the final. Don't have fear Aldona has a beautiful heart. Blessed I had this class

Super sweet and intelligent professor. She is a real gem to take a course with. She wants you to learn and actually understand the material. Def not a blow off course, but she will help you out so much. Really cares about her students and is passionate about teaching and the language. Love her to death

I love this woman. I would recommend her to anyone. She is so personable. She is a clear grader, and when she can tell that you do your work she grades a bit more leniently. She is mostly about reading, but then again this was a LIT class. She doesn't throw any curveballs. I've taken her three times and I wish I could just major in her.

Comment:

Aldona is the GOAT. She is so friendly and gives the funniest lectures. She makes you WANT to come to class. I took both her SPN 314 class and SPN 3500 class. Both were amazing. You gotta do the homework but it really helps. This woman is a godsend and I love the woman. 10/10 recommend.

Comment:

This class required a lot of preparation. We'd either have a video or a reading and then questions to go along with them. The class moved pretty quickly and covered a lot of material so if you're not willing to put in effort, don't bother with this class. She values participation and always says that she hopes that we all walk away with something.

She made what could've been an atrociously boring class into one I loved coming to everyday. Read 4/5 books, just keep up with the reading because she gives a plethora of quizzes. You can miss a few and be fine. Write your commentaries on Western Front and Madame Bovary, trust me, books don't get easier.. TL;DR Take this class, you won't regret

Amazing lady. Caring. I adore her, taking her again next semester. So glad I took her for Grammar. She made you look forward to going class & made class seem more like a family. Learned the most I have ever learned about Spanish from her. English is used in class, so don't be afraid. Lots of homework, but it's necessary to understand course content

Wonderful professor. I would definitely recommend taking her if you are a Spanish major. She really pushes her students to do their best. She cares a lot about her students and is always available to provide extra help or clarification. She wants you to learn and be able to take something away from the class which I think is really great!

This professor is by far the best I have had, she makes her lectures so inspirational and rates it to her life and gives real world stories to back up information. She is hilarious and so caring for her students! We need more professors like her.

Take this class! It requires you to work a little extra for a good grade, but Aldona makes this class very enjoyable! She will not tolerate excessive absences or slacking, but will, on the other hand, work very hard with you during office hours to get you where you need to be. Baseline: Do the work, Participate, and Enjoy this professor!

Aldona is great/enjoyable teacher to have. Unless the whole class doesn't do their homework. So do your homework so Aldona makes your lives easier. If you don't do your homework as a class be prepared for her to change some things around so she makes it that you do. Above everything else, she really is a good human being;)

Comment:

Took this class in the summer and it was well worth it. Aldona learns everybodys name, leads interesting group conversations, and actually cares about you. She hilarious and loves tease everybody. Read a lot, and had a lot of fun in class as well as learned a lot. One of the best teachers I have ever had.

Extremely knowledgeable, hilarious, and the class doesn't require a textbook because she puts up the texts on Moodle which saves students about $150ish! She's not a native speaker but her Spanish sounds like she was born in Latin America it's crazy. You'll learn more Spanish from her than you will from the native Spanish speakers in the department.

You'll never be overloaded with work. Everything is totally doable between the MW classes. She's one of the funniest, smartest, most likable profs I've ever had. Incredibly well-prepared. Don't worry about buying the textbook - everything can be found online for free. TAKE THIS COURSE!

Amazing woman! Would take her class again. Learned a lot about literature & it was fun because she is so passionate about it. Tells amazing stories and has us debate with each other making it more interactive. Novels are necessary but a lot of them can be found online. Tests arent hard at all if you read.

Aldona is by far my favorite professor at OU. She's extremely nice, funny, and helpful. She genuinely cares about her students. Participation is a must in this class and there is usually a quiz after every reading but if you read and do what you're supposed to do, you'll pass easily.

Comment:

I loved professor Pobutsky! I had her for a grammar class which I was dreading but she made the class so fun and interesting. She gives lots of homework and expects class participation or will give pop quizzes. Exams are tough but do-able. She really tries to engage everyone in the class and makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend her!
