He is a very intelligent teacher and has high expectations for students. It is really not that bad as long as you read before class and take notes during lecture. I only studied a few days before the tests and came out with a B. Make sure to stay on top of the homework. He is the best option for Human anatomy hands down

Dr. Forsman was my favorite professor at ETSU. I had to retake the class because the first time i took it I did not know how to study the material. It was very helpful for me to listen to his online lectures (found in podcasts) before each class and drawing the diagrams while listening. Follow the schedule he gives you and stay a few lectures ahead

Drop this class while you can. Sure, he knows his anatomy, but this guy seriously lacks the perspective and common sense that a professor should have. Makes the class more difficult than it needs to be, with difficult to navigate homework programs, weird policies, etc. Take with literally anyone else. Save your GPA. And your sanity.

Awful and expects you to be at the level of a graduate medical student. Shows no mercy and expects you to memorize an extreme amount of information each test not knowing what to expect on it at all. Essentially memorize 300 terms/structures for 1 test and only answer about 80 questions on those. Avoid and save your gpa.

Forsman is my most favorite professor I have ever had at ETSU. He is very relatable and makes the content easy to understand if you really listen to him. Record the lecture if you need to but also read the notes he provides constantly before you come to class. You can definitely make a good grade if you take the time to study and ask questions!

Arrogant (and he knows it), but he DOES know his stuff. He's a tad awkward sometimes with his 1000 year old jokes but ya can't blame the guy for trying. His online resources are ESSENTIAL. The only thing that was illogical to me were his 5 pt quizzes every class (my class was at 8 am). Can be understanding. You HAVE to study hard to earn an A.

This class covers a ton of material in a tiny bit of time. Lectures were awesome and I didn't find the material to be boring at all. Don't be afraid to ask questions because Dr. Forsman will be glad to explain them to you. This class will prepare you for pre-health professions but you HAVE TO STUDY and put in work to succeed.

Dr. Forsman was a GREAT professor and I enjoyed him very much in class. I took this class in the summer as a 5 week class. We did work every single day and sat in lecture for roughly 2.5 hrs every single day. This was a very hard class, but if you work hard enough, you will do just fine. There is a pop quiz almost everyday at the start of class

STUDY! Study your notes each day after class and spend a few hours each week going over lab subjects. It is not impossible to make an A in this class. Forsman is one of the best professors in Public Health, a little arrogant, but you'll like him anyway.

There is a 5 pt quiz every class over the material that will be covered that day. HW is an online program worth 200 in total. Lecture and lab exams for each unit, which are fairly challenging. Offers extra credit. Brilliant man. Will hate him while you're in the class, but miss him once you're out. Will need to study a lot, but will learn a ton.

One of the hardest and most beneficial classes I have ever taken. Not only will it give you a solid grasp of anatomy, you will also get a taste of what classes will be like in a professional school. I learned how to study, how to ingest large amounts of information quickly, and how to be a better student. Highly rcmnded for anyone willing to grow.

I took Dr. Forsman for human anatomy and it was by far the hardest class I've taken. BUT with that being said he is an awesome teacher. You will have to study A LOT but you will also learn a lot. Don't slack on the material, you have to keep up with it. Studying is VERY necessary but he is an awesome professor.

Dr. Forsman is amazing. I'm in my second year of med school and I can tell you that no one will prepare you for the anatomy better than Dr. Forsman. If you plan on going to med school or PT school, you absolutely must take his 3000 human anatomy course. It's notoriously difficult for an undergrad class, but you'll be glad you took it.

Dr. Forsman is the best professor I've ever had. Nothing prepared me more for PT school than him. Keep all of your notes and tests. They're extremely helpful if you're planning on going to med school or PT school. He will lecture you about how important things are in his class, IT'S BECAUSE THEY ARE. If you listen you'll learn so much.

Dr. Forsman is the best professor I have had at ETSU, and Human Anatomy is the best and most fun class I have ever had. If you are ready to put in about 20 hours a week of studying, you can and will make an A. His class is not impossible, you just need to understand that studying and practicing is your key to success in this course.

Brilliant man. I took his class several years ago and I am now enrolled in PT school, his class prepared me for gross anatomy. Yes, it is difficult, but you shouldn't expect anything less than difficult when taking courses like this. If you plan on going to grad school/med school, TAKE HIM!!

Incredible teacher - his ratings on here are way too low. By far the most knowledgeable and helpful teacher I've had. Yes the course is hard, but he does everything he can to provide students with helpful material. He posts notes, lectures, labeled pictures of his models, and diagrams online. Listen in class, study, and you'll be fine.
