Get ready to write. Theres A LOT of drafting, but its honestly super helpful and rough drafts are only graded on completion. Do the reading, even if it seems pointless because she likes to give pop quizzes (though she often hints at them beforehand). Professor Ivanov-Craig is understanding and caring, though a bit disorganized.

She assigns A LOT of reading, but she will review it with the whole the next day. Be sure you are filling in the journal everyday, and also write questions and answer them yourself. She is a bit disorganized with her lectures and her assignments, but will take the time to meet with you.

She is a good professor and she helped a lot to write good papers. She gave me an outstanding grade. And I was an Asian student but she treated me equally like any other students. Professor Ivanov is an amazing professor!

The class was fine, but she was a little all over the place, and all of her assignments sheets over explained to the point where it was confusing. She's really nice though and is helpful when you meet with her in office hours. The class is an easy A if you participate and do the reading.

This is my second time with Dr. Ivanov-Craig. She is a bit all over the place, but if you ask clarification questions she will always answer them. If you talk to her outside of class she's super sweet! She's also very willing to help out with your writing.

Prof Ivanov-Craig is a very eccentric teacher. She never got through her plans for the class period, and spent a lot of time going on tangents that weren't related and weren't interesting. The papers were kind of interesting, just pick a movie you like and find interesting. Don't expect much from class time, but she is not happy when people skip.

Professor Ivanov is a little crazy but you learn a lot about theory in this class. Her tutorials were not organized but as long as you try in the class and participate a little bit, you will get an A easily. The final was an easy presentation and the essays were easy. 3 guest speakers that make the class interesting.

This woman is HILARIOUS. The class is an easy A. Just go to class. She isn't a super tuff grader or anything. She is passionate about the film which makes the class a little interesting. Also, she really cares about your writing and grade if you do.

Dr. I is an amazing professor. She taught two of my classes one semester and I loved every single lecture she gave. She's extremely insightful and is one of the most intelligent and passionate professors. She is a bit eccentric and hard to read, but she means well. Her process for writing/drafting papers is extremely helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Ivanov-Craig was a great choice for ENGL 111. I'm not the best at writing papers, but she set the class up to where the 'papers' were just responses to the reading (which was very simple). She is very energetic in class and made English relatively fun, even though I'm a math person. Only a few quizzes/tests throughout the semester.

Dr. I is an amazing professor, very passionate about what she does, loves her students! There is a lot of reading and responding for homework, but we never had any daily quizzes only three exams and a final project! Take her of you can, she is incredible!!

This professor is incredibly confusing. She has a bad attitude and I felt afraid to approach her if I ever had a question. If you are a musician or athlete and are required to be absent from class, she dislikes that very much. Work wise, it was a lot of busy work & it felt like high school. LOTS of group work. She does care about her field though.

She rarely get through the lesson plan for the day and often goes off on tangents. It's clear that she is smart and knows her stuff. I got the feeling that she didn't like certain students because she wasn't very sly about it.. Kind of rude. Her taste in course material kept me interested throughout the semester. Would take her again if I had to.

If your lazy take this class. If you work hard take this class. Ivanov gives what you take. She is extremely knowledgeable and meets the class where they are at. If you work hard together, you learn a lot. You can get away with not reading, sort of. But you should take her, and you should work hard. Because your paying a lot and she offers a lot.
