Comment:

Great teacher. There are a lot of assignments and you have to stay on top of studying and reading, but she's always willing to help and makes the instructions very clear. Open with students. Great class.

Class was not fun, we had a reading almost every night, not one of them was interesting, all we did the next class was discuss it, also, we had 6 response essays filled with as much babble as you can come up with, huge papers due at the end of the semester, midterm had NOTHING to do with discussions, random notes thrown online, nice lady, bad class

Comment:

I had Dr. Perkins for Leadership during my Fall Semester as a freshmen. She was a fairly nice lady. Lots of reading involved, but I got by without reading barely anything. Quite a few essays/papers, but nothing too horrible. Just make sure you do reading points if she assigns them-- I did slim to none and had to end up making them up before finals.

Dr. Perkins is a very sweet lady and incredibly smart! Sometimes Leadership can be really confusing when you have to write a paper on it but if you ask for her help writing/revising outside of class she is extremely helpful! Very nice lady!!!

330 is the class where Leadership finally clicked (three years later, of course), but Perkins makes the material rather fun. She openly discriminates against all of us Perceiving types out there, but she's one of the better professors out there. Papers with her are always a pain because of all the minor details you have to work into them.

Perkins is my least favorite teacher, and I'm trying my hardest to not have to take her again. She DEFINITELY chooses favorites, and it's not who you would think. She grades papers really hard, especially for an entry level class. I worked really hard and still didnt do that well. Too much work, and too difficult.

THIS CLASS IS DIFFICULT! 330 is supposed to be be an ELECTIVE, however, it is the most difficult class I have taken. Way too many reading journals, HORRIBLE TERM PAPER, along with a presentation, a midterm and a final. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Perkins, do not get me wrong... and I like the material... but the work is like a knife in my chest.

Had her both classes, first one she was rather hard, emotional, and tests can be vague in intreting her situations. 210 can suck at the end with 1500 wd paper, start early and ur good. Not much HW at all, just a few papers here and there. Not hard, i dont do the readings half the time and i still pulled solid B+. Likes sad/emotional writing.

you have no choice but to take her but seriously this class is a lot of notes but very easy if you go and pay attn. take the night class, she let us out early every single time by at least 30 min. 4 Online tests a group paper and a group presentation...not hard to do.

Dr. Perkins is a great professor. She's tough, but she's always extremely clear on what she wants, and really cares about the success of her students. She's very understanding and is really passionate about what she teaches. I'll definitely take her again!

She's really excited about her subject, and her enthusiasm rubs off. The class is fascinating, and although there's definitely some work involved, it shouldn't be any worse than what you're used to.

She is very demanding but she is the Assistant Provost of the University. She knows that people don't like taking her class, but has a very interesting past. Try talking to her, you may like her a lot. Be prepared for class, it isn't high school anymore.

She demands a lot. Though she encourages students to talk to her, she is very unapproachable. She is one of those that you either love or hate, I highly recommend NOT taking her.
