Comment:
Frazho may be a genius, but he isn't good enough to teach. From disorganized lectures to a complete lack of interest in teaching us something (he would show up to class and start doing math without explaining what he was doing nor how to do it), you will feel completely lost in his lectures and will be on your own, as office hours are not helpful.

Comment:
Prof. Frazho is a very unique character. He's scatter-brained, foul-mouthed, and brilliant; his lectures feel kind of like you're a muggle trying to take a class at Hogwarts. His tests are extremely tough, but he curves most people to a B at the end of the semester. If you sit in the front and pay attention you'll probably do fine.

Comment:
Frazho is very unorganized. You will never really know what your grades are in the class because he "doesn't know where to draw the cutoff." Generally gives you B's if you're within the standard deviation of exams. Exams are graded inconsistently. You don't really learn FROM him and there is no clear purpose of the class until 3/4 in the semester.

Professor himself seems to be a nice guy but a course itself seems unprepared. This is my first class without course syllabus. Exam was scheduled one week in advance. HW just pop up. Course note is quite unorganize and weird (graphs need to be in color but it's in black and white rofl) and really hard to read. Expect self-taught.

Comment:
The best course I took in my grad school till now; Prof. Frazho pushes the course forward in a really great way. Most of the projection theorem, Hilbert spaces make sense in the beginning but in the final few weeks he uses them to derive the whole Kalman filter from scratch. Greatly knowledgeable instructor!

Its sometimes hard to understand what Frazho is talking about or how what you are doing relates to anything, but if you review the notes he gives after class while you are working on the assignment, it makes scene. Also, prepare to be blown away on exams.

Tough professor to learn from. He knows his material but does not present it well. Be ready to self-teach.

I took 301 with Garrison and dropped it half way through b/c he's incompetent. I learned more in a day with Frazho than half a semester with Garrison. I felt very prepared for AAE 364. If you go to class you'll get at least a B.

I took this class as an undergrad, as did a few others. He said "I admire anyone who is an undergrad and taking this class, so I will not give you less than a B." I got an A, but he was a genius and tried his hardest to teach.

Very funny guy. Makes me always want to go to class. He teaches by example which is great. Best Purdue Aero professor I've had yet.

A great overall prof. Can honestly say that I never came close to falling asleep in his class. He is the only professor that I have ever had that will cuss at math. Very entertaining and presents the material in a way that I found very helpful.

Has his quirks, but he is a genious. He doesn't like teaching so he makes his class very easy, which is cool. However, he is amazing with Math and his knowledge of the subject

Good professor. He has a lot of weird quirks about him, but he is definately the right professor for the class. He takes a normally hard class with difficult material, and most of the time makes it interesting and easy to learn.

Lower level classes probably aren't the high point of his day (or semester) which is why he practically gives the answers away for his homework. Good prof if you want to pass, not good prof if you *really* want to learn material.

Very knowledgable and exciting teacher. One of the challenging yet interesting courses I have taken. Final exam was oral and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am glad I took his course.
