Comment:

Professor Varghese is of the most caring, respectful professors I have ever had. She expects a lot from her students but is more than willing to help them at any time. At times she may be strict, but it is only for the success of her students. If you at all struggle with math, TAKE HER -- you will not be disappointed. She is amazing.

Comment:

Take her if you want an A. She probably wants you to get an A more than you do. Pay attention to her lectures and or sit in front and the A will come easy. So good at explaining things. Such a good teacher that makes sure you know the material. Accent made for slight learning curve at first but I got used to it quick. Gives extra credit on tests.

I had her for Pre-calc, MAT135, & MAT136... She provides lecture notes & goes over them during class- which is obvs helpful. But you MUST put in the work & She WANTS you to come to her office hours, she knows this a hard class and most students fail it. (Hw was assigned through MyLabMath) Also, she's very caring- you just have to be respectful.

Great professor! I had not done any math for about 5-6 years and took this class. She was available for extra help after every single class. There is a midterm, final, and a quiz (2) in between both. Homework is online, unlimited tries until it's due. Really cares about her students. Not an easy A+ but if you work for it, she will give it to you.

If you HATE math like I did. She will change you perception immediately within the first week! But, you MUST put in the work and utilize all the resources at DePaul (avoid outside resources). She WANTS you to come to her office hours, she knows this a hard class and most student fail it. She provides lecture notes that are extremely helpful!

I learned so much in her class. She definitely knows how to teach and she makes sure everyone understands everything. Best professor I've had.

You can set yourself up to get an easy A in this class as long as you are diligent and actually put in the time and work. Overall, she was the best professor I had at DePaul who actually cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She prepares the notes for you to print ahead of time so you can follow along in the lectures-which is amazing.

Great professor and she really cares about her students and their progress. I took her for both MAT135 and MAT136. Attendance is mandatory and a large portion of your grade so show up to class and pay attention and it's an easy A.

Best math professor I have ever had. Cares about her students and their grades. Writes the problems out on the board and explains everything. Gives you notes packets to follow along and all of the homework is online. Four exams and they are all straight from the online reviews. Highly suggest if you want to learn and get a good grade.

Easy to understand and writes everything out and is posted online. If you miss a class, it wont be the end of the world. There are four exams for in the course. Keep in mind even if you get the right answer she will still take off points for not showing work. Harsh grader.

Very easy to understand and follow, writes problems out on the board instead of just lecturing. Homework is all online, no textbook. If you show up to class, do the online homework, and pay attention then youll easily pass the class. Shes always available outside but she doesnt take messing around in her class. Shell call you out. Very nice, very down to earth, always willing to spend time after class to help you. All homework is online and fairly easy. All her lecture notes are in packets that you can print off her D2L page. Easily one of the best Calc professors at DePaul. Highly recommend.

She was an AMAZING professor!!! i actually was on her waitlist and begged her to enroll me in her course. She makes sure you understand the material and i have NOTHING bad to say about her. I always felt very prepared when it came to the tests and quizzes. Make sure you show up, do the homework, and respect her during class and you will easily pass

One of the best professors at DePaul. Makes the material so easy to understand. All you have to do is show up in class, do the homework online and will end up with an A for sure. There's 3 tests, a midterm, final and homework but she tells you exactly what you need to know. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best I've ever taken. She offers extra help and is more than willing to work with you. She knows it's a tough subject but really cares about making sure you know the material. Very highly recommended.
