Cone's a nice guy, but his class is a waste of time. The class is out of 1000 points, so there is ALWAYS something due. Super easy class, but you'll never want to show up. If this is your major, consider taking it from someone else.

The test are written so you fail. His lectures ramble on for what feels like forever without ever reaching a point. If you can stay awake in his class it's a miracle. He has random fits of rage.

Avoid this class at 8am if you are not a morning person you will find yourself trying to stay awake because of his monotone voice. He speaks of himself for a while during class but then gets to work on the material. You don't have to read the books to pass this class. If you know the basics of computers you'll be good

The most worst instructor I have ever had. Rambles about nothing all the time, taking the whole class to teach something that should take less then 30 min. It took 30 min for him so show us how to open and start a new file in Access because of his ramblings! Class content is easy anyway, so you'll get a good grade with anyone else.

Terrible lecturer, he will put you to sleep. He rambles about the most irrelevant things. He will teach something then go off on a random tangent, leaving you like.. UM? He locks your screen, so you cant follow along on what he is teaching on excel, access, and word. He teaches after you take the tests.

Added the class late and was ****ed out immediately for missing "key material" stuck with it but slowly lost interest of daily learning about how the syllabus changed, took the first exam and dropped not cause i was doing horrible but because i know i can get a better teacher and retake the class, the guy is worse than reed reiner for ANT 301

okay, i went into this class thinking i would learn a decent amount. this guy is a complete tool. how he landed the job he has, i have no idea. if you ever take CIS 120 at NAU, dont even consider this worthless person.

This guy has no business teaching any class. He rambles on about nothing, but luckly everything you need to know is in the book. Easily one of the worst teachers I've had at NAU. Thankfully this is my last class and I was able to force myself to put up with it. With the budget cuts coming, he'd be a perfect canidate for termination/removal.

Cone's a nice enough guy, but he has no business teaching. We're required to take quizzes before he lectures on them, and we have at least three different places to look to make sure we get all assignments completed. It might as well be independent study. Talks too long about nothing. I definitely would have dropped if it wasn't my last semester.

This professor makes you fall asleep in class, and it is basically what is in the book. As long as you go over the stuff in the book then your fine. Not a very good professor at all, I would not recommend him.

OK- It's not that Bill is a bad guy. He's one of the nicest professors I have this year. However, he does not go over the tested material diligently, and most of the time not at all. The lectures are dramatically elongated, and never mentions any of the questions on the online quizzes (which are weekly). Everything is done from a book.

Professor Cone was wonderful. He was always available when I need assitance. His understanding of the subject makes it easy to learn and I truly use the skills learned in his class on a daily basis. This class took my fear of creating power point presentations for class away. I now create and use them with ease. Great Professor

His digressive lectures are interesting, but only if you've read the material. Asks picky questions on tests. Too many people think they already know this material and don't study enough, but that's not really the instructor's fault.

I couldn't agree more with the comment that he preaches for an hour about something that could be summed up in a few sentences. I you are actually in a class he teaches be prepared to stay for the whole time, listening to something explained five times.
