Best experience I have had with a professor in my life. He actually cares about his students progression. There is a lot of reading to do in this class, but he also posts videos about them so you don't need to read too much. He keeps things simple, but interesting. Great professor if you want to get a good grade and learn at the same time.

Bill Jojo is a character and an ocean of knowledge. He's in the field more than 30 years, running the HVCC "stellar" infrastructure! The class is very hands-on, with multiple interesting projects all done in a complex vCenter environment that is available for the students to utilize. He'll be happy to deep dive into any subject, just ask questions!

He was my first Java professor at HVCC. He uses very detailed notes about projects and examples. Attention to details like object oriented programming and algorithms. Highly recommending him if you planning on studying Java.

He was clearly interested in his job. His way of teaching helps you to develop an intuition for how to approach problems and think critically. Sometimes he does answer your question with another question; they mostly lead you in the right direction provided you've paid attention in class. He keeps you interested and gives you a lot of time for work

I have taken Jojo for all his classes, P&L 1 and 2 and his operating class. If I could take another class of his I would. Just be warned this class is not for slackers and expect to learn. He really tries to make his class as interesting as possible and will help if you ask for it. If you are looking to be challenged Jojo is your go to man.

One of the best teachers I've had, but also one of the hardest classes I took, (Calculus being #1) I bugged Mr. Jojo with millions of questions and he always gave answers that were outside the box and made me think. He makes you work hard but the class is very rewarding!

Absolutely the worst first programming experience I've ever had. He wanted to babysit, work on non-class stuff during class, very little lecture, had no interest in helping beginners understand Java, answered questions with questions instead of explaining things.

Professor Jojo is enthusiastic about this subject and everything computers. Therefore, A student can't help being interested also. Jojo is not easy but is very helpful and extremely fair. He adapts the pace of the material to the ability of the class. Jojo, took the time to write up on-line notes that are extremely helpful. Worth taking!

Awesome teacher! Always willing to stay late, come in on days off to answers questions; fast paced but flexible - adjusts the course schedule if students aren't ready to move forward. cool guy in general. really tries to be fair and wants his students to understand. wish he taught more classes.

Wish he taught every class there.Very down to earth,always goes the extra mile for every student,very dedicated.Loves geek speak & movie references.Classes extremely fast paced,he speaks even faster. notes truly will save you.just make sure you are there & you write fast! seriously best teacher there. Good teacher, hard subject, if you've never done programming this course is pretty hard to wrap your head around. Don't be afraid to ask for help... i feel like he helped a lot in my passing and his notes pretty much tell you how to do every project, I'd highly recommend him.

A fantastic professor. His class was an absolute pleasure to attend. He was smart, engaging, fun, and skilled in teaching the material. It takes a certain character to run the HVCC network full time AND teach. He goes way over people's heads, and his tests are pretty challenging, but he's always in his office... literally, if you ever need help. I'd take more classes from him if offered.

Bill is great guy. Will do anything he can to make sure you understand a concept. Yes, he will talk over your head, but this is a new subject, right?? He does go off on tangets, but they are fun and give a break. Make sure you pay very close attention to lectures. Your notes will save you. The reason he doesn't use the book is that it sucks.
