I took Bob's class in early 2005. He was down-to-earth, intelligent, passionate, and truly loved his students. We would sit outside and chat while he smoked a cigarette. Bob changed my life, and I miss him.

Bob Hale is an AWESOME teacher. I loved taking his class and always looked forward to it. He has a great sense of humor and his stories are great. He showed movies in class that really helped me learn even more. Take his class if you can. You won't be disappointed.

Mr. Hale is a kick ass professor who was an ex-cop, ex-truck driver. He tells it like it is from a real world point of view, except with a poetic, passionate flare. TAKE MR. HALE!

Love the man! His stories bring rich experience to class discussions. He's not an in-your-face-my-opinion-is-God prof, he give you his opinion and invites you to share yours. I just wish others would learn from it. Highly, highly recommended. Sympathetic, yet quirky sense of humor. Love him!

I'm going to be completely honest. Bob never taught anything. He always gave assignments but FORGOT he assigned them. He talked more about his own life experiences instead of English. BIG FLAKE. Charming man, but as a teacher I wouldn't recommend him. Don't waste your time or money like I did!
