I took his micro online. It is a lot of work. Tests are not easy nor was the proctored final. I had zero interest and came out with a B. He gives enough homework that you should have no problem getting 100s on as they are 3 attempts to where you average out nicely. You have to totally gaff it off to fail.

Knows economics and can explain everything to you, but ask the right question or you will still be lost. Tests arent easy they make you stop and think about the question (take the extra second) I actually have to retake the course but is my fault due to lack of reading the text book, so READ because lectures seem to make sense until test come

Took him for micro and macro, he's great but puts you on the spot if you are an accounting major. REad the book or you'll be lost.

Awesome teacher. Take his class seriously though, and do every assignment. Don't wait until the last minute. All homework is online, and he posts all Powerpoints used, but it's still a LOT easier to understand if you come to class. Book is rarely needed in class (and is fairly heavy), but reading will help a bunch for the tests.

Comment:
His personality is very capitalistic; he teaches the class like he's scouting as a trainer. He gives a precis to every subject in class and will do a debate. Very right-wing and a good guy. His tests are a bit shady, and you should know math well before taking his class. Minimum IQ: ~110. Personality: conscientiousness. Stay on top of things.

Macroeconomics - He does everything except takes the test. Strict on grading - NO CURVE, NO EASY ANSWERS (unless all of the above) gives you powerpoints, study guide etc all from your computer. You have to be able to read on a college level and you WILL read! Great teacher. Meets in the library for hours two days a week in case anyone needs help.

Tried to make the class fun and was very enthusiastic. Exams are hard if you don't pay attention in class or study, but if you remember Adam Smith you will always get at least one right on the exams.

Economics is boring and he tries to make it so you can understand it. Tests are multiple choice and done on computer on your own time.
