Comment:

Brenda is one of my favorite Psychology professors at Alverno. She has amazing lecutres in class that reviews the readings needed to read the night before. She is always accessable outside of class to respond to emails. Highly reccomend Brenda as a professor and I would take her for another class in a heartbeat.

Comment:

Brenda was an amazing Psych professor, she made sure she was accessible outside of class. She always made sure individuals understood what the readings were about and if we didn't, she spent time and gave personal examples to help us better understand it. Highly recommend her as a professor

Comment:

Brenda is a very knowledgeable professor and also works in the Psychology field. Her classes are led by PowerPoint lectures and discussions on the topics we read. Bring your workbooks and textbooks along because you spend time working and reading from them in class. She's a pretty laid back professor but does expect work to be handed in.

I was not satisfied with this class. I was excited for it, but I do not feel like I learned anything from her that I couldn't have read on my own. It was an easy "A" but she doesn't seem to care about the class. I would not recommend her if you actually want to learn something.

This class was really really easy. We hardly ever had homework and there is only one assessment in the beginning of the semester. Like someone else commented, class discussions got WAY off track and we wasted a lot of time. Nice lady, but a pretty boring class. It's easy though, so I don't mind.

Comment:

I learned more about correct punctuation and APA format than I did about Psychology in this class. All group discussions went WAY off track and nothing led back to Lifespan. Seemed more like group theapy than class. Great lady - bad Psych teacher.

The class in general was so unclear. No one in the class ever knew the direction it was going in(neither did she). When I asked her questions she would appear irritated that I was even asking her anything. I felt like I was asked to jump through too many hoops 4 just a check in the box. I did pass the class with all possible validations, though

Great teacher for IN-130. Gives clear instructions and is always available for help if needed. Would definitely take her again!
