I was very intimidated by her and the assignments are first, but she is extremely nice and the papers/writing assignments are do-able if you think through it. Overall I would love to take a class of her's again.

Prof Tucker was great overall. My only complaint would be not having more class meeting times. We met once a week for 2.5 hours.

The textbook was really expensive, but those readings were much better than the long, dense, awful ereserves readings. We did consumption diaries for this class, which were very time-consuming and not very worthwhile. She is used to students fawning over her and cares little for other opinions.

Do not take this course during an eight weeks session!! The readings were incredibly dense, but I never read them... still got an A. Make sure you go to class - easy participation grade. As long as you pay attention you'll be fine, plus you get study guides. Final was an 8-12 page research paper.

She is the nicest and most amazing professor. She makes her classes very interesting and very personable. She encourages talking and discussing in her class and makes you want to learn more! I would definately take another class from her. =)

Maybe she is different with classes like E200, but I like her a lot. She is not that soft-spoken in our class, probably because it is such a big class. Either way, the class is fun and she really makes me think.

ENjoyed the class overall. Agree there was a lot of reading, but felt lectures were clear if readings were done. Didn't always do readings, but still did ok. Lot of busy work those readings.

Same as the previous commenter. Lectures are quite wordy and most students weren't comprehending. There were huge amounts of readings due for each class and few graded assignments. If you mess up on one, you're screwed.
