Comment:

EASIEST CLASS OF MY LIFE! It is a hidden gem. Basically, it is grade 9 science but easier. Science students are not allowed to take this course, but everyone else can. 10/10 recommend. I am a business student and did awful in science in hs, but still pulled out a 12 doing nothing. This course is comparable to UU150. Highly recommended.

I was not impressed by this professor. I made an A in the class because I am good at word problems not because she taught me any physics. Her grading was inconsistent. Students missed 2,3,or 4 points for the same mistake. I also went to ask questions during her office hours and she acted like she had no time for me (what are office hours for?).

Her new name is Cheryl Wrinkle. Avoid her. She hasn't graded half the crap, and the semester is almost over. I have no clue my grade going into the final. The only positive thing is she drops the lowest of your three test scores, excluding the final. She doesn't know that much about physics. Take someone else

I have never hated a class so much, and that has nothing to do with physics. She is a terrible teacher, the department is crazy for letting her teach physics; she can't even do math!She also will randomly assign more homework problems or move UP the due day and not inform you. If you actually want to learn something from this class, don't take her!

Prof. Schaefer is a very kind woman and is willing to wok with you if you have a problem with a grade you have received. The class isn't too difficult but is pretty boring. She never lets you out early.

She is a good professor. A bit spacey at times and makes some math errors but if you want an A, take her. You'll have to work for it, but it's not too difficult. Also, she's super nice and helpful!

I was so afraid of the "P" word before this class, but ended up enjoying the class and the professor. Lots of hands on stuff helped. Dr. Schaefer really helps you learn how to teach your students by example. Would recommend her (and do) to my friends!

She is so nice and very caring. She does know physics, but sometimes I think she just doesn't give a very clear explanation for students to understand. Even if she does get a little disorganized with the grades, she will eventually get them updated. She puts a lot into the class and does in-class activities to help understand the concepts.

Super nice instructor. Hands on approach to physics...very concrete demonstrations and student centereed learning activities. She is however, VERY disorganized and at times unclear.

Okay. She's a nice woman, but she should not be teaching physics. For one thing, she believes in intelligent design, and talked about it in class. She's terrible at math, and has trouble adding up the grades on her tests. I know more about physics than she does. The only reason she has this job is because Robert Plaster is her father.

I was a little timid about taking physics in college, but she is an easy teacher. You will have a quiz every friday instead of huge tests. Her quizes are very easy, she reviews before each quiz. I would take this class with her before anyone else.

Take her for this course. It is an easy A. I was fairly terrified of taking Physics, but this was an easy class. She is unclear in her lectures and the book is worthless, but if you go to the help sessions you will do fine. Her tests incredibly easy.
