Honestly, Dr. Atiyeh uses her deceased husband as an excuse for not following through as a professor. It was over three months into the semester when we had our first graded assignment, and she is very unclear about what she expects from exam essays. There was no portfolio of work to assess you fairly, so your final grade was questionable at best.

I thought that this class was way easier then art history B. She really knows whats shes talking about and as long as you go to class and listen to her lectures its a fairly easy class. I never used my text book once and got a good grade.

Very helpful and nice. Is clear with lecture notes and tells you exactly what to expect on exams. Strives to make students do well. Doesn't try to fool or trick anyone--very straight forward. Attendance in class is mandatory. If you go to class and take notes, you should do fine on the exams. Great class. Made art history fun.

She is so interested in what she is teaching that you can't help but also be interested. Very, very good class--make sure you GO to class. 100% of the test is from the notes. Fairly easy tests if you paid attention during her lecture.

Makes class very interesting. If you go to class every day, there is no need to buy the book. She gives extra credit for every test. Tests are very straight forward and all the slides are given to you at the beginning of the semester. DON'T try to cheat because she's very suspicious of students cheating. Great teacher, I really recommend her!

Christine is great! Her tests aren't easy, but if you study, you should do very well! She is very into what she is teaching and offers students various ways to get into the subject. She can be challenging, but this is a big part of what keeps her class interesting. Yea!

She's the sweetest person but puts her foot down when it comes to disrespecting her. She's balanced,funny, very intelligent...and the only class that I really look forward to. Tips: turn your phone off, don't fuss around at the end of class until she's done talking, and talk to her whenever you can. TAKE THE CLASS!

EASY!! The tests are basically 10 slides and 20 multiple choice. She gives out extra credit before each test which basically you write a one page paper on different stuff. easy extra points. She is willing to take time out of her day and help you. LOVES her job. She is an all around excellent teacher.

Christine is an excellent professor. She has traveled many of the places she teaches about and is very passionate about what she teaches and she seems to love it. I was not interested AT ALL in art history but I accually like going to class at 8am. Her tests are not necissarily easy, but if you study the slides you are set.

Prof. Z is a great teacher. She has traveled to many of the places she teaches; is passionate which I think makes her a great teacher. She is fair. I never thought that I would be interested in western antiquity art, but she makes me want to go to class and learn more. Definetly take her!
