So, its hard for me to leave a negative review of him because honestly his point of view and info that he brings to the table is HIGHLY respectable! However I felt as though I didnt learn anything this entire term. He had us do two tests and a final paper(a presentation as well, except corona happened!) but I feel like we should have learned more

Class is just midterm, final, and final paper. The class was very self driven with very little interaction with the professor. Lectures are heavily influenced by his opinion and even though he says that having a different opinion won't change your grade he makes sure to make you feel bad for it. Overall rude when grading paper.

Comment:
Consistently talks about current political events and makes his option well known. It can be distracting and redundant. He does tie them into class however. It just makes it hard to always go to class. Very few assignments, read text and give effort and things and youll do fine.

Each class he brought a stack of 20 articles to go over, none of which were provided online to study with later. In fact, the blackboard site was completely unused. Interesting guest speakers. Interesting content. Poor teaching methods.

Not helpful at all. No interaction from him at all, seeing as this was online. Spent the whole semester teaching myself, and his comments when grading papers are rude and over the top uncalled for. If you don't agree with his ideals then he will use them as leverage to give a lower grade. Will never take a class from him again.

This teacher was not very nice to me. He prize himself in being a tough grader. Be prepared for no interaction from him at all. I am not sure if he is overloaded or what, but I personally will not take him again

I took this class online and have never been so belittled by a teacher. The class was 6 weeks. The first week the class wasn't up on angel. When it finally got up he basically said read the textbook, read the book and course work. Here's your test. I asked for help and he told me this is an upper level class and he didn't have to.

Loved the subject matter. Detest the professor. Most arrogant, blatantly rude, unhelpful professor I have EVER had. As long as you don't have any grammar errors, pay attention to only HIS lecture notes (after all, Professor Mosher knows ALL. Forget what the book, or other scientific studies say...) you should do ok. Oh and don't ask questions.

Currently taking his SOC 362 class, regretting every second of it. Vague directions in the syllabus, unanswered questions from him. Only answer he ever gave me was to tell me to go read his introductory message to the class.

Jerk. Docked me points on a paper for a spelling error that was in a direct quote from a book that was spelled incorrectly. He is aggressive and doesn't allow students to feel comfortable about speaking in class.

The good:Very knowledgable, fairly friendly, has drive to teach. The bad: compulsion to point out every single class that he is liberal and/or Canadian. Treats class as if it is against him. Is unable to explain concepts without simply spouting off numbers. responds to questions aggressivly if not hostily. Smart guy but not a good teacher.

Very rude and full of himself. Loved the material but NOT the teacher. He DOESN'T deserve the Dr. in front of his name! DON'T TAKE HIM! He doesn't take kindly to the student asking about grades even with a good argument-he wont change ur grade so don't ask. He will tell u he was nice to give u what u got! WORST TEACHER IVE EVER HAD!

Extremely rude and condescending. His teaching and grading style is a joke. He has the ego of a diva, and gets off on making people feel stupid. Will not respond to any correspondences, and if you take his class online, he does not know how to use Angel.

The worst teacher I have ever had. He was very rude when grading papers. Very boring and monotone voice. I think his way of teaching was very offensive. Don't recommend him for anyone unless you wan't to fail or hear rude comments.

I did not like this professor at all. I felt that he was too serious and his lectures were painful (BORING) to get through. He also graded my papers in a rude and careless manner. Interesting class, poor teacher.

Dr. Mosher is very experienced in the law and JD issues. I enjoyed his classes. He is really fair and his tests are a little challenging. His liberal thinking adds to the justice system I think!

He seemed very intelligent and informed on the topic but completely unable to cnvey that information in an effective manner. His widley acknowledged liberal bias didn't bother me, but I can see how it could easily distract hardcore conservatives.
