Comment:

Professor Gerousis is a super caring guy and obviously knows what he's talking about. He's very well educated, but he can't stay focused during lectures and has spent about half the semester reviewing things we were taught in another class. He's passionate and fair, but be prepared to teach yourself a lot of the material if you want to pass.

He's a little difficult to understand and his lectures get kind of confusing but he's incredibly helpful and caring. Make sure to completely understand the study guide questions for the exams.

He is one of the sweetest professors I've ever had. I HATE physics. I took physics 151 with Dr. Cole from CNU, I FAILED. But I retook the class with Dr. G and got an A. He posts practice exams that are nearly identical to the real ones. He will go over everything with you, he is very generous with office hours. Homework every week, but will help u.

Dr. G is a great prof. However, if you don't show up for class you will fail. He gives regular attendance quizzes which are super easy. Homework is easy, right out of the textbook and he will usually go over in class if you have questions. His tests are average, if you review the material you will pass. Highly recommend.

Gerousis is a great professor! He is always willing to help his students and has very fair tests and quizzes. He really cares about his students individual success and is always enthusiastic about the material.

Dr. Gerousis is a very kind man, and it is obvious that he has a genuine concern for his students. He can be fairly difficult to understand during his lectures, and he sometimes makes mistakes. However, he is always willing to give one-on-one help, which is a lot clearer and can really be beneficial.

He is the nicest professor ever. Wants everyone to like him and to do well in class. A lot of class time is spent going over homework problems, but it helps. Physics is my hardest subject, but he made it easier. Unfortunately he isn't teaching 152 next semester :(

Pretty easy physics class, just do your homework on WebAssign. Attendance wasn't required. Willing to work with you with everything and is very lenient with homework extensions. Enjoyable class.

I can't stress how extremely nice and helpful Professor Gerousis is! He remembers everyone's names and encourages you to go to his office hours with any questions about the material. He loves talking about his kids in class and cares about all of his students on a personal level just as much. He's always smiling, but don't take advantage of him.

CPEN 214, TAKE HIM, its that easy. Very helpful, very nice man. Gets off topic, but is very funny and smart and always willing to help or give you more time to get things right. All around great professor! best professor possible for the class!

He never really makes much sense when he teaches. You really have to teach yourself the material sometimes. However, his tests are super easy and just like the practice exams. He likes to talk about his family during class and sometimes just can't focus. I would suggest him if you've taken physics before.

He is really nice and very enthusiastic about physics. I learned a lot while taking this class, but it was also fairly easy. He was always there when I needed help and would work with me until I completely understood it. He does get side tracked easily and spent a lot of time messing with the computer at the beginning of class.

I don't actually remember discussing much in this class. He is a great guy and loves group quizzes and group work. He let us out like 15-30 minutes early every class and had crossword puzzle days where he would bring muffins. Pretty easy class. Not technical.

i was pretty much thrown into this class with no knowledge of computers. however, it ended up not mattering much b/c i don't feel like we actually discussed computers very often. We got off topic a lot and some of the info seemed irrelevent. But he's a really sweet guy who has a genuine interest in is students and a lot of knowledge in his field

Gerousis is a great professor! He's EXTREMELY helpful to all his students. He encourages you to come to office hours for any help what so ever. He will literally sit down and do the homework with you step by step. He's also a very sweet man and funny at times. Highly recommend taking physics with him, your life will be easier!
