Many people have trouble with Daryl's classes because he is different that any other teacher. He requires you to expand your thought pattern, most students just want to cruise through their education without learning much. He changes that thinking and requires you to work for something. Once I understood this, his classes became gold.

I took the integrated topics: nothingness class hoping to learn some cool philosophy/science. Unfortunately, I haven't really learned much of anything. Darryl is all over the place, crazy disorganized, and difficult to understand. Nice, but not the best prof.

Daryl was really good helping with questions and being available anytime. He let us "fix up" our final drafts to resubmit if we didn't get the grade we wanted. He taught more so his students would learn the right way to write not to see how hard he could make the class.

Comment:

Professor Biniaz is fun and talkative. He keeps the interest of his students and our class was one of the best that I have ever been in. He encourages the students to think outside of the box and always ask "why?". You can tell he enjoys teaching.

Took in '03, used a "World Religions" book for our text which was neat. I found his talking style hard to follow, lots of pauses and then rushing thoughts. The writing exercises were really good for improving skills. I didn't like sitting in class but I appreciated the work and his friendliness.
