great professor, he knows which student doesn't know the material and he will call on them but not everyone, its accounting 1 if you don't get the material in this class you can't move forward so he has to teach that way. gives you great real-life examples and helps every person in the class. MUST TAKE processor, offers you extra credit

This teacher is terrible. He posts old lectures from last year and just doesn't care. He Will post homework assignments that have questions on the article itself but will grade you on information the questions did not even ask for. He is unorganized and needs to evaluate his teaching career as well as his dysfunctional personal business. Avoid.

Professor is a great person but rushes through every lesson. Gives alot of wiley plus assignments . He does this sarcastic way of teaching and randomely calls on people and forces people to talk . Overall the class isnt hard its just the way he teaches it . Youtube videos helped me more than paying attention.

I liked how he taught the class he would make sure everyone was following along by making sure everyone was participating and that would make you stay on top of the material. Although, he wouldn't communicate when the online hw was due and he was not very approachable. I talked to him a few times and he didn't try to help me in any way.

Best accounting professor at SUNY Old Westbury. Participation is a must, so if you do not like to participate in class do not take him. He makes every single student participate. He shows and explains how to do problems. He does not review or give review sheets for exams. However, if you pay attention and study there will be no need for reviews.

Doesn't really teach the info, wastes a lot of time waiting for answers . Great teacher when he lectured on the topics instead of using the socriatic method. If you don't like being called on, don't enroll. Expect a lot of work. DO the work and read the book and you will do well. I learned a lot, but his class was nothing but stress & sarcasm.

This is the worst professor I have ever had in my life. He is so unorganized, vague, and unfair. Expects students to do tons of online assignments that he assigns at the absolute last minute via email, and gives only hours to complete. LOTS of busy work too. It's a shame because I actually find the material interesting, but he barely teaches it.

Condescending. Very unclear. He teaches nothing in class. Everything you learn will be self taught so make sure to do all of the reading and homework. He assigns a ton of homework and does not even go over it all. He is very unclear and sneaky w assignments and requirements. Not helpful and very non-understanding with issues and doesn't answer ?s

I'm taking an online class which is much different than a normal class. Expect to do a lot of work. If you've never used IDEA, expect to teach yourself. Pretty much expect to teach yourself the entire course since you're online and lose the human element most are used to. I heard he's a great professor but online is a different story.

He is funny and knows what he is talking about. Enjoyable class, he makes the time go by quickly. His sarcasm and how straight forward he is makes his lectures enjoyable. Very intelligent guy.

He's a GREAT professor that teaches the Material and makes you understand Accounting. I recommend to take him as you'll understand Accounting in general. He goes over the examples, teaches it step by step, makes sure you understand it and goes all out to make sure you understand it. His class isn't really easy but it's doable if you try.

to be real honest. is he a mean person? no. is he sarcastic? yes. does he teach clearly? no. how? when he shows you an example on the board it is all over the place& we get quiet this makes him irritated. no Review sheets are given. if u fail the midterm your done for. if u want to actually learn your done for too.u learn by the HUGE textbook.
