Dave Jones is a PhD student and also teaches English. He is a very nice guy, and is trying to good thru the motions of teaching his English classes. But his main interest is his PhD classes. DAVE IS A FREAKING AMAZING TEACHER!!! He is a really cool guy. I hate english with a passion but he makes the class fun. He grades very easy. We watched Family Guy last week. I am deff taking him for 201! Take him just do it. You won't regret it, I promise.

Mr. Jones is a really good teacher! He made english really interesting, and made me interested into it(even though I hate english). He is pretty easy going on grading. Not to much homework, but some every now and then. Really good class, I would definatly take it again.

I HATE English with a passion, but his class wasnt bad at all. We watched the Simpson's and Family Guy. He didnt grade too hard either. As long as you go to class, and make an effort you will get an A.

Dave is AMAZING. He really cares about your grade and your improvement in the class. I learned more from Dave then I did in all my highschool classes combined. Dave is relaxed, understanding, and really intellegent. Attend the workshops even if you dont have your paper completly done. TAKE DAVE..

An asset to USI. Mr. Jones is one of the best instructors on this campus. You will find yourself looking forward to his class because it is fun and it is interesting. Not too many lectures, mostly class discussions about relevant topics. Alot of papers, but he gives you time to do them and grades rather loosely. TAKE THIS GUY, DO IT.

he's a really good guy...tries to get the class involved but most 101's don't care that much. lots of class discussions that make the class go slow but makes it easy too..lots of little assignments that are worthless and easy. grades papers fairly. as long as you do the work, theres no reason to not get an A. young, which makes it easier i think.

He was AWESOME! He didnt grade you on your opinions! He graded very easily. Lots of good class discussions. Always let you go early. Young & really connected with every student. Lienant on due dates. An all around great teacher! Would DEFFINETLY take him again if I had to!!!
