Dr. Wong was a great professor. He writes all the notes on the board; the pace is easy to follow along. Homework is optional but do it because the questions are similar to tests/quizzes. There are a lot of Test/quizzes and they make up the entire grade! Questions are straight forward. In office hours, he will go over individual questions.

Mr. Wong has comprehensive knowledge in several disciplines and knows how to give a lecture. Although his lectures might be boring and you have to wait till the end to ask questions, I personally learned a lot in this class.

One of the worst teachers I've ever had. Doesn't like questions. really? I'd rather watch YouTube to learn the material. At least I could rewind. I had to take him because he's the only one teaching this class. Putting in so much work and getting a C- is depressing. This guy will make you want to quit.

This guy is a bad teacher. Its as simple as that. He explains entirely in theory, but guess what? That's not what the tests are on. He won't answer your questions and is downright mean if you don't get the subject immediately. Don't take him unless you absolutely have to, and even then I hope you're good at learning things on your own...

If you do well in math and understand mathematical concepts then you will do well. There are 3 tests, midterms are 30% and your final is 40%. For my class he dropped the lowest midterm and doubled the final. Although attendance isn't mandatory, you should attend. His notes are what he will test you on. Make sure you read the book too!

I can not believe a professor could be that miserable and boring. I took Econ classes before and enjoyed every minute of it because of my professor. In this economic climate, there are many chances to talk about different issues but he can not even make a decent example.God forbid if you ask a question, he makes sure that u never ask question again.

I really enjoyed the class. He is very articulate and what he says is clear and concise. Very well spoken, although he has an accent that can be taken as monotonous. The way he explains things clicks with me and he makes the class relevant and interesting. Given the opportunity I would definitely take a class with him again.

I understand why people don't like this class. There are three tests that make up your whole grade and he doesn't really like questions during class. Having said that, I loved this class. He's amazingly articulate with explaining the theory. Read the book, read your notes, and he even gives a study guide. Great class.

Horrible professor. Does not teach or explain things well. Dull, monotone lectures EVERY time. Tests are difficult and made tricky. I actually felt he made course material MORE difficult than it was. He does not curve. Does not like to be asked questions. Stay away from this guy.

Do not take this prof!! The class is challenging and he talks AT you, he doesn't TEACH. His lectures are straightforward but he does not interact with students AT ALL and makes you feel stupid if you ask any questions. 2 midterms 1 final. He is a hard grader and definitely plays some tricks on tests. No curves. Got a C+, but it was rough!

Come to class , taking the notes and study carefully the review, you will get good score in this class. You have to review all the homework he do in the class . The exame base on entire notes and homework he did on class. I think he is good professor, I got an A compare with my score in community college I must study harder and get a B.

I have to disagree with other reviews. First of all, this class isn't too tough to begin with. I didn't expect Prof Wong to help out much anyways because the material is pretty straight forward. Exams are not very difficult as long as you study. His reviews sufficiently prepare you for the exams. Go to class because his exams are based on his lect

I have never written anything on rate my professor but I have to to tell everyone do not take this professor. he does not help students and will make you feel dumb for asking questions. Most of the class do not understand him but he does not care. I took the class twice and found out I took it with him again (staff). I almost had a heart attack.

How's your calculus? If it's good, you don't need to worry about the fact that you cant understand a word the guy says. I never went to class and just did the problems he assigned from the book. Got a B+, but his tests are pretty much based on those examples

Professor Wong knows economics but is a mediocre teacher at best. Not respectful or receptive to questions asked in class or during office hours. Responds to students as though they are incompetent and a waste of his time. Two mid-terms and a final. Very difficult to pass without a curve. Might be a tolerable class for econ majors.

He is the worst econ teacher at csuf and they are all pretty bad if you ask me. He spends an hour drawing graphs and offers no help or guidance on how to pass his class. He has no problem failing you, doesn't answer emails and is never in his office. Take Naish instead wong sucks....RUUUUNNN if he is he only one available, wait til next semester.
