Hard to learn anything from him when all he does is read off old PDF papers that have many mistakes that he doesn't realize until he is almost done with the problem. When reading the PDF's he goes so fast most people cannot fallow what he is going over.

I thought he was a sub-par professor. All he ever did was read off of his canned PDFs. Totally oblivious to everything that was going on. Tests are pretty easy though.

Great teacher who had a great structure for the course. Doesn't use an online platform, and homework comes from the book and is graded very fairly. We met twice a week where the first day he answered all questions on homework and the second in which we turned it in. Doesn't like tests so they are extremely easy, and you get to use a calculator.

He teaches from a PDF that often contains mistakes, this causes confusion when looking over them outside of class. Does not curve anything and grades very harsh, any mistakes at all or simply not showing enough of the right work and you will lose tons of points on both tests and homework. you will learn the math but your grade will probably suffer.

Bad teacher doesn't know what he is doing therefore cant explain it. Most of my class stopped showing up and went to other lectures because it is pointless to go to his class. I learned more from reading the text book then going to his class. Don't take this professor!

Best math teacher I've had. Understands the students very well, and makes learning the subject fun. Do the homework honestly because he structures exams very similar to the homework.

All the notes are available online, but attending class is worthwhile because the notes may have mistakes. The homework helps on the exams. He will essentially do the homework in class if you ask for help. He is pretty helpful

His homework and exams are extremely easy. For the exams he tells you problems that will be "helpful" to know which is basically his exams. This guy is an easy A. As far as really learning math in class...not so much. His notes have many errors that go uncorrected and lectures are quite dull. If you want an easy A take this prof.

Exams and HW: easy. He gives problems from the book to study that are almost identical to the ones on the exams. Go luck learning much in class though, he spends more time trying to figure out his ipad and fixing the errors in his notes than actually teaching. He tries to be funny too. Very "eccentric"

Not a bad class or teacher, he taught fairly well in class and the tests and quizzes had no surprises on them at all really. The material was a bit difficult at times and he probably could have done better explaining things, but it was never terrible. Would take again.

Lectures are a bit difficult to follow, he just scrolls a printout of his slides on the overhead. Notes have many mistakes, so they aren't useful. He can get a bad temper if you interact with him personally. Grading of homework is very subjective, only grades 2 questions of the 15 or so assigned. Makes up for poor lectures with super easy tests.

Awesome prof, awesome guy. Understanding and flexible with exam conflicts. Homework is graded a bit harshly (partially based on correctness) but tests are not bad. Exam review problems are extremely helpful - do them! Only complaint is that it can take him 4+ days to answer an email.

Not a good teacher. Wasted a lot of class time trying to be funny and bashing the Linear Algebra instructor. Relied on his notes too much, basically read them off rather than teach. Also, the book is not user friendly at all. Avoid this teacher if possible!
