Comment:

Lab quizzes every week, but only worth 5 its each. Lab reports are due at the end class and the bulk of your grade. He mostly looks at data tables to make sure your numbers or math are reasonable. Doesn't lecture much and is kind of condescending if you ask questions. Usually though you can get done early and do fine if your data makes sense.

The first few labs will be hard, but then you should get an A on all of them. Study last weeks lab because he does a quiz every class. Read the lab manual carefully, it is easy to follow. Don't ask him questions unless you absolutely need to, sometimes he tells you the wrong thing. "If you are wrong, that will be the saddest moment."

He read slides word for word to us the whole time that I have 100% confidence were not even written by him. Absolutely no direction to the course. Absolutely no skills learned. Literally played rock-paper-scissors to see if I would go to class. Absolutely hated it.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE HIM. Terrible professor, terrible class. He tests you on things you've never learned. If you ask him for help with your lab, he will tell you the wrong thing and then take off points when he grades it. NEVER TAKE THIS CLASS. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

HORRIBLE!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! he expects you to know things you were never taught. QUIZZES ARE RIDICULOUS. highest grade i ever got was 25/40. he gives you a quiz @ the beginning of each lab on things we've never learned then lectures about what we were jus quizzed on...CRAZY! You will start crying...and then you will start jumping up and down haha. He is alright, I mean do your thing and the lab is very easy anyway. Do not ask him questions coz he wont answer anyway. Don't take things he says personaly, study for the quizzes a lil and you should be fine.

This guy is a jerk. Doesn't ever offer to help. I usually went to the lab next door and asked the guy teaching that one for help. I got close to perfects on all labs but got a C in the class because his quizzes are impossible.

he makes his jokes about killing people and how we are all **** off of johny walker but i thought he was quite hilarious. most labs you will get 57-60 out of 60 but the quizes seemed impossible i got maybe 4 perfects (40/40) and the rest 10-30. get on his good side (joke with him)

Absolutely the worst prof ever!!!!! Avoid him at all costs. He compared our classes intelligency to his then 9th grade son, completely negative towards a majority of the students. Does not deserve to teach. HE NEEDS VIEW THINGS FROM A STUDENTS PERSPECTIVE.......overall never take him

He does make some rather inappropriate comments-but don't take him seriously. After you get used to him you realize these are his attempts at jokes. Also, you have to make him like you, although it isn't always easy. He isn't the best with larger classes, and doesn't understand when people don't get it.

I remember Talwar telling our class that if we couldn't learn physics from him then we couldn't learn it from anyone. I'm glad I didn't listen to that, because I just earned an A in Physics 2 with a REAL professor. Does IUP just hire anyone that fills out an application? This guy shouldn't be allowed to teach anything anywhere. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!

This guy has not one good rating. Thats cause hes horrible. The epitomy of a bad professor; unclear, ignorant, difficult, a jerk, and will go to the extra effort of making you look like an ass if you ask a question. If it werent for IUP being cheap and needing cheap foreign profs, he'd be long gone.
