Comment:

The easiest professor I have ever taken! Her lectures are simple and she posts them online. She is so funny and had such a cheery and positive attitude. The homework are just questions that require the textbook to answer. She lets you use notes on the multiple-choice midterm and final. And she gives out extra credit so much! Sad to see her retire..

This professor is literally the easiest professor I've ever taken in my life. She honestly just lectures/ vents/ talks for an hour and lets class out early. She wants to leave as much as you do. We turn in weekly assignments 1x week and there are 3 tests in the semester. ALL TESTS ARE OPEN NOTES except for the book. Easyyyyy A

Comment:

Professor Heimer is hilarious! This class is structured so well. Turn in your homework on time, and answer every question, and you get full points. She also offers a large chunk of extra credit, which is nice. You can use the PowerPoints, notes, homework, and in-class handouts on your midterm and final. It is hard not to pass this class.

Ms. Heimer is a fantastic journalism professorshe really knows and loves the subject, and teaches it with great humor and effectiveness! The class discussions are rich and her feedback on your work is incredibly helpful. Shes kind and witty, a good professor and jokester. All-in-all, a professor I very much like and am happy to take again.

Professor Heimer is an absolute gift to this world. The class is super interesting and she tries to tie in as many current events as possible. She's easygoing, funny, and you can tell she really cares about her students. Only a midterm and a final, and homework assignments are straight out of the textbook, one per chapter.

In all the classes that I've had at Sac City, very few others can compare to Diane Heimer. She's not only experienced and well rounded in her field, she is so lovely of a person you won't even feel like you're learning and yet by the end of the class you'll most likely get a good grade because she's just that good of a teacher. She's a good teacher

Although this class is an easy A, with the subject of media literacy becoming relevant, it will benefit the student to take in the content and learn some relevant stuff. Professor Heimer does a good job presenting the basics of mass media and keeps the subject interesting. Assignments are purely off the textbook and also midterm/final pretty much.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! She cares. Is very outgoing and hilarious. Your homework is a big part of your grade your testing not so much. She's always willing to work things out with her students. She accepts late homework. You get extra credit opportunities. She was one of my top favorite professors I've ever had. GOOD JOB SAC CITY FOR HIRING HER!

This is hands down the EASIEST class I've ever taken. Most people in my class didn't even have to take the final and we all still ended up with A's. She lets you use all your homework (which is minimal) and printouts of her lecture notes during the midterm. Plus, she is HILARIOUS!

She is really nice and easy-going. Her class was really easy. It's mostly a grammar course in my opinion. If you need the 1 unit then it's an easy class. You take the final exam early and it you do well enough you don't have to show up on finals day.

TAKE HER TAKE HER TAKE HER ! You won't regret it ! I loved her teaching style. One assignment a week for homework worth 20 points. Forget to do it? you can turn it in the next class for 5 points less ! You can use your notes on the test. She is very funny and personable. I would take her again if I could. Recommend her highly.

Coolest Prof EVER! She's understands that we all have busy lives and our schedules don't revolve around her class so she makes it tolerable. Getting in "A" is extremely easy if you do the work. Homework is basic busy work that can be knocked out in 30min. Can not explain how easy this class is. Highly recommended! r

Easy class. Very sweet lady. Allows you to rewrite essays for a passing grade. Relaxing class. Great sense of humor and very encouraging. I love her class. I learned alot. Side note, she hates cellphone out during class.

She's a really good prof. Just work hard and show that you actually wanna pass and she'll pass you. She's funny and sarcastic and makes the class worth going to. She's definitely my favorite prof at City College.

Comment:

Heimer is an awesome, down to earth, and funny professor. I've taken her for mass media in society and online new writing. My experience with her is that she is one of the best professors, and is interested in teacher her students skills to apply in the real world. I recommend this teacher to everyone.
