Comment:

I had Dr. Christensen for the lab portion of this class, and he was super helpful in lab! He was very kind and patient and took the time to make sure the students understood what was going on as well as helped to troubleshoot tricky parts of the lab. Just a note - the class portion is more demanding, no more open book tests and an A is a 95.

Comment:

One of the best professors I've ever had! He really cares about students (he tries to learn everyone's name), he makes class super enjoyable. Although grading is hard, if you stay on top of reading quizzes and prepare for exams accordingly you'll definitely get an A

Comment:

Doug is the best teacher I have ever had. The cutoff grade for an A is high (94/100) but if you do well on the in class quizzes you should not have an issue. Also, be sure to take good notes due to the fact that all of the exams are open book/ open note.

Hands down one of the best professors I have ever had-- and probably THE best TEACHER I've every had. He explains things so well, which is so wonderful when the subject matter gets tough. He so kind and genuinely wants everyone in his class to succeed.

Comment:

Prof. Christensen is one of the best professors I've had. His class is easy and interesting, just the right mix for a freshman level class. HW and test questions are similar to those found in the book he wrote. Genuinely cared for all his students. Definitely a professor I would take another class from!

Dr. Christenson explains things to you like you are a complete idiot. Which is very useful when he's teaching you something that is really difficult. His grading system is straight-forward and clear. In Bioen 1101 he lets you use any notes and previous homework assignments on the test.

Dr. Christensen is an excellent professor. The subject matter could be hard but he explains it all so clearly, and always answers questions. He makes it easy. You learn a ton in his class, without it being way too hard.
