although this isnt easy class to take, you do learn a lot and she is helpfull in that learning period. there is a lot to cover but she give you time to take the notes down, and explaines it for you. the one thing i cant express enough is read the book, if you do that and are in class paying attention you should make a very good grade in her class.

The class is not difficult if you can read/listen/comprehend simple instructions. She is very direct, do not take it personally. She gives you all the info that will be on the test beforehand. You have to read the book--all of it. Multiple choice tests, not tricky at all. Definitely take her class, it is well worth it!!

She is a great instructor who will give you what you paid for. She is not easy, but you will actually learn something from the class, provided you do the required course work. I have taken 3 classes from her and scored an A in all of them. If you don't like to study, then maybe college is not for you.

The instructor is VERY invested in the students acquring knowledge. She feels that you pay for school, and you should get your monies worth. I would not advise students to ask questions. It's somewhat of a humilitaing experience. She's fair, and you get the grade you deserve. Study and you'll be successful.

She believes that she owns the sociology Dept.turned it into a law library. Very self centered and love to drink with students. She uses the law to attack her fellow coworkers. I'm a great student (did well in her class) but I sincerely feel like she has issues of power. I am disappointed, seeing as how I think I would have really loved the topic. Her archaic forms of instruction include public humiliation "to toughen you up", or what she might refer to as "preparing you for the real world." She's dysfunctional. AVOID

Very challenging proffesor. Be sure to have good communication with her. Keep her in the loop with what is going on with you and she will help. She can be very tough and she doesn't like lazy people or people who disturb the entire class with questions that she has already covered and the person did not pay attention.

I have taken Dr. Espinosa 4 times and my first impression of her was that she was very intimidating. Later I found that if you do what is expected of you (go to class, follow instructions) you will do fine. She is rude to people who do not do these things, but come on, we are not in High School anymore, and she should not have to put up with slacke
