If you're ready to suck up, be good at writing papers, and never need help she's the one for you. Never had any problem ever with an English class, its my major, and she threatened to drop me for receiving a C on one paper. I received A's on every other one she assigned. My advice, never take her unless you HAVE to. Worst professor I've ever had!

Literally the worst teacher I've ever came in contact with. Terrible knowledge of subject. Don't push yourself in this class. She grades and teaches purely based on emotion. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Proffesor wolfe is one of the nicest and easiest english teachers for vo1A. As long as you are on her good side you will get As on all your papers. she also provides alot of help on all the papers including the research paper. she provided our class with a thesis and 3 body paragraphs! super easy class would take 1b with her if she taught it

If you enter this class thinking you are knowledgeable in any aspect, Ms. Wolfe will be happy to tell you otherwise. It's her way or the highway, but if you do choose her way, then you will without a doubt get a passing grade, if not an A. She wants to pass everyone but in the same breath will let you know your lack of smarts.

I try hard in school and I never hated a 'professor' before but I ABSOLUTELY HATE HER. I only had her as a temporary sub but I definitely agree with all the bad reviews about her. I also learned absolutely nothing except how to bs an essay off a sample paper, because she wants it to be exactly like it. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!

Mrs. Wolfe is rude, condescending and very strict about attendance and cell phone use. When asking a question she doesn't answer it but instead asks you a question. My classmates and I don't bother asking her anymore. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS.

HORRIBLE TEACHER. Shes rude and her "answers" to your questions usually have nothing to do with your question.VERY STRICT ON ATTENDANCE. Her essays are hard and shell say how to do it then later tell you that you did everything wrong. Follow the sample papers almost exactly, and youll be fine. I highly recommend taking a different teacher.

Super strict on attendance, if you're minutes late u will receive half credit for the day. If u ask her a question, she will make u feel stupid, ramble on about something not regarding your question, then leave you to "help" another student. I LEARNED NOTHING. But if you can follow an example paper, you will pass,basically copy the samples to pass.

Edith Wolfe is a wonderful professor. She gives plenty of time to do your work in class and will answer any questions you have and will even take the time to help improve your essay. Take advantage of her when your in the lab because she loves to write ! She knows her stuff and loves to see students succeed. I highly recommend taking her.

Taking English Composition with Edith Wolfe was not a horrible idea.Yes she is an easy teacher but she is about as clear as mud.She does not encourage students, nor does she teach you the proper way to compose a paper, or how to improve on doing so. She is sarcastic and penalizes you for her failure to be clear and concise.Pick another teacher.

Really liked her was always there to answer questions for anyone who needed help. There's only 3 essays and you get a lot of time to work on them in class. She literally gave us the questions to be on the final because a final was technically required and she wanted everyone to do good. Only negative would be strict on attendance

Funny at times, but her class is ridiculously easy :D. Overall, a great instructor.
