I really think that she was a great teacher. I had her for an 8-10:45PM class and I automatically expected it to suck. But she is really funny and loves telling stories. And she would usually let us out early which was a plus! She was a great speech teacher.

Professor Loughran was my favorite professor I've had yet. I am a second semester freshman and I can honestly say she taught me a lot. She has a good sense of humor and is willing to help out however she can. I received a B in her class. You give 3 speeches and theres a take home final. She's a great lady and I would highly suggest her.

I read all the comments on Loughran before signing up because I was not looking forward to speech class. She is really nice and funny but she had a little freak out during one of our speech nights and graded us pretty hard on it. After that she calmed down and went back to being cool. Never stayed the whole class and in the end I got a B+.

Prof. Loughran is soo funny. I had her for an 8pm class and never stayed past 10 unless it was a night that speeches were due. Real easy grader as long as she sees that you are improving in your speeches and putting forth some effort. Most of the speeches are due at the end of the semester. The final is a piece of cake.

OMG She is soo easy. I LOVED HER! great professor. so nice and never keeps you the whole time. very easy going with speech grades, just make it flow and you get an A. take home exam & group project is so easy. definitely take her! easy A

she is hilarious ! i love her and we've only had like 5 classes. class is like 2 and a half hours long, but she makes it interesting so it only feels like an hour. i love how dramatic she is and all the funny little voice she makes. i'm a freshman and so far she's hands down my favorite teacher.

Since we have to take this BS class, you might as well have a proffesor who makes it fairly easy. The class was really easy, plus, she cancelled a few, so I missed 5 once a week classes (SWEET). Just be careful with your group project.

she is one of the best prof. ive had at msu. i really feel much more confident about public speaking and i really learned a lot from her class. she is really entertaining as well. i took this class at night and she always let us go early, she never dragged anything out and kept it interesting. definitely a fair grader.

she is amazing. definitly one of the funniest professors..this lady is halarious. she makes you feel like your talking with a friend, not a teacher, yet is very smart. shes very understanding..and definitly makes class enjoyable, and as painless as possible. everyone loves her..if you have to take speech...take loughran!!!!! shes cute!
