Comment:

She is not only an amazing professor but also a genuinely caring person. I had her for 300 and ended up with a C because I skipped many lectures and fell behind. But I had her for 405, and I realized all I had to do was be real with her. Im about to end with an A. Professors like her are once in a lifetime. Im blessed to have learned from her.

Comment:

Dr. Regentova is a very knowledgeable professor. During her lectures she can sometimes start talking at a higher level than what is necessary but she always will get the point across clearly. CpE 409 was the first semester it was taught and was mainly project based. CpE 405 was a mix of tests and Projects. She's a great professor.

Comment:

Professor Regentova is a great teacher. Took her online, and she offers so much more explanation of the material than other teachers including videos. The class is test focused but she offers plenty of prep including a study guide that covers pretty much everything. She does throw in a couple of twists to see if you are actually learning.

Comment:

Dr. Regentova is a great professor who cares about her students. The material isn't the easiest but she teaches in a way to make it easier to understand. Show up to class and do the homework and you'll pass.

Took it online at the summer, very clear every week is the same really good modules, I did not open the textbook. Final worth 60%. She is lovely and always available for any question. She had only A B C grades no in between

The class is difficult, but Dr. Regentova does a great job to explain and offers tons of help if you don't understand. She is very understanding and doesn't want you to fail just attend lectures and keep up with the homework assignments.

Dr. Regentova was awesome. I loved the class. Read the book so the material is easier and do the problems and you will be fine. No hmwk .. only quizzes and tests were like the quizzes. Go to her office hours and she helps a lot.

The lecturebook is very informative and will fully prepare you for quizzes and tests. The testing and grading is more than fair; similar to quiz problems. She displays great passion for teaching and helping students. I would not take any other professor; she inspired me to be better.

Great teacher! She is super nice and cares about her students. Make sure to go to class and take good notes! Also, for her homeworkquizzes, practice is key. Go in understanding the material rather than relying on the fact that it is open note. She lets you know what you need to understand for each quiztest. It is your responsibility to know it.

She moves very fast but asks and genuinely wants to know if you're lost. She'll repeat and reexplain if you have a look on your face like you didn't get something. She doesn't curve which stinks, but she's given a few extra credit problems and plenty of hwk to cushion tests if you need it. She's very smart and cares about the students' success.

Course moves fast and is tough at points. She covers a LOT of material very quickly but if you pay close attention in lectures and do the homework problems you will be fine. Gives study sheets for exams that are very helpful. Just a fast paced course that requires good effort but otherwise passable. Cares about student's progress too

Easy class. Homework didn't take much time. She sends lecture slides and homework assignments by email which is very convenient. She also gives a lot of extra credit on tests and homework so it's easy to get an A if you try. She really does everything she can to help her students succeed.

What a fantastic teacher! She made the class a lot of fun. She is very helpful, and she has a genuine wish for students to learn and do well in her class. She emails you her powerpoints, so focus on writing down what she says and writes on the board instead of following them. Definitely take a class with her if you have the opportunity :)

If you see this teacher privately and work with friends this class is very possible. Her style of teaching is scattered and unorganized, but she is more than willing to spend all her time helping you and going over examples. She's a great person.

Regentova is a very friendly and smart professor. Fair grader and will work w/ you during office hours or after the class. If you come to class everyday and pay attention, do your homework you should have no problem with this course.
