Eric is great! I honestly can't really think of anything bad to say about him, other than a few small things that don't really matter. He knows his stuff and can be pretty funny at times! Not a whole lot of grades and tests are 80% of your grade. Overall, good choice, you definitely won't regret taking him.

Comment:

Eric is great! He is very considerate and kind. He spaced stuff out so you knew weeks in advance what was due and doesn't give extreme amounts of work. One time a test of mine was put in as a zero because I lost connection while taking it and he allowed me to retake it. He gives clear instructions and wants his students to succeed.

Very straight forward class. Not an excessive amount of tests or assignments. Pretty simple lecture/notes from powerpoints. Study guides given for each test. Very nice professor.

Great professor. His work is automatically graded, so you don't have to worry about not getting your grade. His work is easy if you ready the specified text and do the map activities. He is prompt on answering any questions and will reset a test or quiz if your browser crashes... (me). Easy class.

I am currently enrolled in Geo 112 with Professor Christian and I have an A in the class. Christian is very helpful and wants to see his students succeed. If someone does bad in this class, it is defintely on their end, probably bc of time management issues. He gives you a lot of time in advanced to prepare for exams, quizzes, etc. Would recommend

I never got the chance to see what professor Christian was like during lecture since this was an online class. But, there was a lot to read and some of the chapters had to be skimmed over more than once. He makes notes available which help out a lot on exams and only one paper you have to write (it's easy). Pretty nice guy overall

I have taken many online classes, and his was the most welcoming, stress-free class I have ever taken. He has clear grading criteria with few assignments, and is easily able to be contacted. I would take another class with him again if I could. Truly, one of the chillest teachers and classes I have ever had. Never knew such peace could exist.

Very good teacher. You have weekly map quizzes, but they are extremely easy. Besides that you do 3 extremely short papers, which he doesn't grade hard on. Besides that its tests. For tests, study notes and write down everything he mentions in class, and read the chapters if you want and it will be an easy A.

He is hilarious ! Some people find it hard, but as long as you pay attention to his lectures, do your work(some homework and projects). You will be fine. Also, he uses real life examples to help better understand and uses himself or other students to pick on for examples, which makes learning hilarious. Think of Jerry Seinfelds sense of humor. : )

I took both GEOG 116 and GEOG 112. Expectations were clear. Organized blackboard site. Best online professor that I have had so far. GEOG 112 -- 4 tests, quiz weekly, a map project. Wish he taught more courses online.

I would highly recommend taking Prof Christian for anything that he teaches online. Think there were 4 tests, two online, two at school -- but he worked with me re taking test an alternative proctored site. Very organized. Everything was clearly organized on blackboard. Grading fair. Think 3 short papers also. A bunch of very manageable quizzes.

He was goofy and just great. I went to class most of the time and I did great. The final is not comprehensive so that is pretty great. I enjoyed him so much I'm taking another class with him next semester.

Very good and helpful teacher. It was a fun and relatively easy class and the map project was a lot of fun. He also is willing to give you 100% on a grade if you deserve it unlike some teachers who will never give you 100% no matter what.

Class was pretty easy and interesting. Just don't waste money on buying the Atlas with this class. Only 1 test question was taken from Atlas. The rest was from the text, power point and videos.
