Comment:
Eric is an amazing philosophy professor at Berea. He teaches interesting classes from Thinking about God, to Free Will, to Symbolic Logic. Highly recommend this teacher. If you complain about too much reading or actually having to do work then don't take him, but in reality, that's your problem, not the teacher's.

Eric has been my favorite professor since freshman year. He's a nice guy, a great cook, and a wise philosopher. He's skilled at explaining difficult concepts in a digestible way, and I've never found his lectures boring (I've taken several of his classes). Strongly recommended.

Comment:
One of the most easy-going professors I've had. The work load he assigns isn't too strenuous, so you'll have more space and time to digest the material. Eric is very intelligent, open-minded and interested in the opinions of his students. If you take a 300-level course with him, he will invite you to his house for a dinner--VERY commendable cook!

Dr. Pearson is very quiet for the most part, but he is a pretty funny professor. He always seems to be available to help you with the material outside of class if you're having a difficult time comprehending the topic or philosopher at hand. He is pretty good about referencing specific philosophers and pointing out other ways of viewing a topic.

I took Eric for GSTR 110 my freshman year. Eric is a great professor. He is very quiet and shy, but he's also a very funny and great guy to be around. I would definitely take another class with him if I were interested in Philosophy.

Eric is one of those people that you will find annoying as hell or absolutely loveable (in a non-fluffy kitten way). He's a self-proclaimed pessimist. He's so negative, but he expresses it with a smile, so I think it's kind of adorable. I always look forward to class with him.

He is a great professor. He is very much willing to help you understand anything in the class. He is a bit quiter and more shy than a lot of the professors in the college. Very down to earth and just generally likable guy.

Awesome Professor. It's my fourth and unfortunately last class with him. I'll miss him loads. He's so quirky, but by the end of your stay here at Berea, you grow to find him warm and funny.
