3-5 page papers every week, four quizzes (two long ones done on your own, two in class), midterm and a final. You have to remember people's quotes from their teachings of the class (Backwards, right?) and use them in every paper. Likes to complain about the class and gripe about us every time we meet like a middle school girl.

Great teacher. makes little joikes...most of the time funny...all quizzes take home and midterm questions given before hand. just one paper. doesn't take attendence but i don't mind goin to class...had class afrom 650 to 940 pm and he always let us out early...like 8 30 early.

The best theo teacher i believe that you'll find at SJU, even though he and i have the same last name he's mad chill and has funny stories and jokes to tell, he's up from with you and cares for his students, the way it should be... I'm sad i can't have him again i would deffinately recommend Fr. Melendez

The sweetest guy ever!! He makes it a pleasure to take his class. Gives a lot of quizzes but they're mostly take home. If not he gives u the answers before the quiz or u can even email him with any questions. He's very personable but u need a sense of humor to take his class!

I really enjoyed his class. He's funny, and keeps you interested with his rediculous jokes. Most of the tests are take home, and if they're not, then he gives you the questions before hand. He's also really lienent with late papers.

Makes racially insensitive jokes in class and talks down to students. His take home quizzes are not worth the work you will put in to them. Also, he had same class during two different class periods, gave one a take final and the other and in class fina

class is ok...likes to show how smart he is which gets annoying..quizzes are a lot more work than they are worth..makes a lot of ethnic jokes...not the worst class u can take but def not the best

This teacher is one of the best teachers you'll ever ave. The class is easy all you have to do is do the work. 4 take home quizzes a mid term and final you already know the questions for and a reflection paper. You can't fail!!!

I love this man! Nicest guy! Easy TAKE HOME tests! Take notes and get an A! Makes funny religious jokes! If you get less than an A, you have problems!
