Professor is extremely disrespectful of student. The old saying "there are no dumb questions" does not apply to this guy. He will humiliate you in front of the entire class if he believes your question is not valid. Also, don't show up late. He locks the door and won't let you in. Avoid him at all costs.

I wake up at 8 am just to look at the presence of a god. His know it all powers create a desire in me to become exactly like him. He is a role model to many and a friend to all! Put your faith in this man and you will receive your degree.

This man is a role model to all the Civil students. If I become half as successful as this man then my life will be complete. He gave me the tools to become the greatest engineer of all time, besides him. "The solution to pollution is dilution". My decision to attend FSU was solely based on being in the presence of Mr. Zickefoose, PE ... Thanks

Gary is a great guy that real cares about his students. He may be rough on you but you will learn the most from him. Once you get past his methods you will learn all sorts of information.

Professor Zickefoose is the most respected professor at Fairmont State. I wish we could use more than 3 tags, as he gives good feedback, is well respected, inspires his students, has clear grading criteria, gives amazing lectures, and even with all that is still hilarious. Everyone should take him for at least one class in their time at FSU

Worst teacher I've ever had! he loves to make you feel inferior to him and his priorities in class is to pick on students and embarrass them. Grading is totally up to him whether he likes you or not, no matter how hard you work.

Intro to Structures is a must take class for Architecture and Civil Engineering students and Zickefoose is the only professor to teach it. Prepare to teach yourself the material, because his lectures are essentially useless.

Worthless- I truly have never had a professor Hate his job or students with the passion that Gary Zicefoose can. Count on knowing what you need to pass the class before attending your first day. If you don't already know it or have potential to learn on your own, you will NOT be learning it from this professor. Avoid him, as if you have a choice.

I normally don't write reviews, but this guy is so bad I couldn't wait until the end of the semester. He is awful. All he does is read the book to you in class, and if you ask a question, he treats you like you're stupid. "Just go over the examples in the book" he says. If I knew about him before coming to FSU, I would have went somewhere else.

Intelligent prof. but not real concerned about you or whether you are getting the material. Grading iis completely nerve racking so be prepared for it. won't fail you but will make you fell like an idiot the WHOLE semester.It's kind of like getting a shot,only hurts for a little bit then its over.

Worst Instructor at FSC. He grades you the way he wants too. When you make a "F" in his class it would be a "C" in anybody elses class unless you are one of his buddies. Very degrading person and very un-helpfull. In the end he typically passes you but it is nerve racking up to that point.
