Shambro, shamberlin, shamwow. Dude is super chill and and has a some low key humor. Really enjoyed his classes. Took him for VB/c# windows apps. Not a huge fan of the material but he made it ok. Best class I took from him was webapps. The class could have been better if we we're not slowed down by losers.

He was assigned the class last minute and he very clearly was not happy about it. The lectures are very vague, the material is very different when compared to other CS classes. He's also a very hard grader, and usually doesn't give program grades until its way to late to drop the class. You'll get tests that are from the book, with little 2 no prep

Very good and funny teacher that goes over the material well. Little tip. The fill in the blank questions on the test are word for word from the Chapter Reviews on the book.

Class: web applications. In this class you learn how to set up a web server(wlinux) make web pages with cgi, cpp, java, and php. We would have done more if for not the computers in the lab being replaced. He gave easy instructions for how to do EVERYTHING, I did things a different (easier maybe or not??) way. I learned way more than I expected.

This is just based on Web Applications. This was definitely one of the worst courses I've ever taken. Half of the course was wasted because we were waiting for new computers and he did very little in the mean time. Then it was an unorganized survey of various things and there wasn't enough time to learn much. You probably won't learn very much...

Took Mr. Shamblin for both MATH 1473 and CS 1003 my Freshman year. He's a good teacher, knows his stuff, will help if necessary. Personality wise somewhere between Tommy Lee Jones and a country preacher. Very fair grader, has a sense of humor.

He is a very nice guy, but should definitely not be teaching College Algebra for Incoming Students. He relies only on MyMathLab but doesnt teach us how to do the work. It is very stressful and takes us so much time. Math usually comes easily to me, but i struggled the entire course. I would never recommend this class to anyone.

This is NOT a college algebra teacher! This is the hardest course i've ever taken and math is my best subject. EVERYTHING except tests are online through mymath lab and takes up all of your time! Extremely stressful and he was very unclear! He does NOT explain what he is giving us, this is calculus, NOT algebra.

Really friendly and funny guy. I never bought the textbook and still made an "A." Very willing to help. You don't have to show up to class. Interesting class overall. Definitely take Mr. Shamblin!

I had Shamblin for "CS 1" I think it was? The intro C++ class. Anyway, he was a great teacher. Laid back, accommodating, and explains things well. It's especially easy to follow since everyone has their own computer in class, including him. If you have programming experience this class is a breeze, if not I imagine it would still be alright.

Mr. Shamblin is the most easy going guy, and he has no attendance policy at all. If you want to show up that is fine with him, and if you don't want to show up, thats fine well. Very laid back, however; he is still a very good teacher and very clear on the topics that he presents and will extrapolate on anything that the students wish. Would rec
