I have a love-hate relationship with this professor. its a really easy A but you won't learn a thing. she doesn't really engage with the students and stays glued to her computer during the entire lecture. If you really want to learn about Media, do not take her!!!

Simply put, easy. Assignments are clear. Test and quizzes are easy. Not fun, but not horrible either. Just okay. Can get kind of boring after a while.

There are easy A's and then there's this teacher, who is so slow I feel like she's going backwards. Honestly I can never get back the hours I spent in this class. Don't spend much time on the homework/online quizzes, all the answers are online. But remember canvas tracks when you tab away from the window buddies!

it's week two and i already know how miserable this class will be. if you need a gpa booster this is the class for you, if you're passionate about the subject DO NOT TAKE HER. She lectures common sense topics, doesn't move an inch from her computer, and is SO boring. Anyone can teach this stuff, do yourself a favor AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!

Prof Charles is a nice person but if you are trying to actually learn anything about media I would take a different teacher. She starts class 15-20 minutes late every single class and then doesn't get very much done. Overall a disorganized teacher and not good at explaining assignments and seems a little annoyed when you ask questions.

Pretty straightforward. You gotta study for her tests though because she does pick stuff from the reading that are detailed. Her assignments are not hard. There was one group presentation that wasn't difficult either. Good class, I recommend her.

Do not take this class if you want to further your knowledge. Literally learned nothing. This class will put you far behind your peers in your major. She never got anything done, and even on tests her AP questions were wrong. However, if you don't care about becoming a better journalist, take this class. I have no clue how she has a job.

Professor Charles is a very sweet lady. She is pretty lenient as well, but she does pay attention to who comes to class. It is an easy A, but you have to stay on top of your work as it is easy to fall behind. I rented the book & opened it one time and still got an A. She is still new to eCompanion so make sure to check in with her about your grade.

This class was very interesting. I took Professor Charles in the 6-week summer session. It was pretty difficult to sit in her class but worth it. One of the hardest classes to sit in that I have ever taken and yet the easiest A. All you need to do is show up to class. Everything is pretty much opinionated. I never had one shape or form of stress.

Attend every class! Class was super easy and info learned is sooo obvious. Don't take if you want to learn. It's a joke of a class. BS anything and you'll get 100%. Teacher is very scattered and impossible to talk to if you need her to do something. However its a super easy A and the assignments are a joke! the "quiz's" are all opinion based.

I was super excited for this class and was really let down. Boring, uninformative lectures and no passion. Some of the info was wrong too (the PC section was a joke). A lot of assignments but they're easy/doesn't grade hard. Quizzes are mostly opinions, along with essays. If you want to learn don't take this class!

So glad I took this class. Class consists of watching various video clips. The material is very easy to grasp and interesting. She grades very easy on essay, and the multiple choice questions on the midterm and final were extremely simple. I never read any of the reader, and got an A. DONT BUY IT! It's all online. I recommend this class!

EASY TEACHER, BUT VERY ANNOYING. ALWAYS MAKING JOKES TO HERSELF THAT ARE NOT FUNNY. ALOT OF LECTURE AND VIDEO CLIPS. EASY A, BUT VERY ANNOYING TEACHER. NEVER USED THE TEXT BOOK SO DO NOT BUY. VERY TRUTHFUL PLEASE READ: She is an extremely easy teacher, class time is mostly made up of lectures and video clips. IT IS NOT HARD TO GET AN A IN HER CLASS. The only issue is that she says the word UMM and UHH every second of class which can get very annoying. I would recommend the class, only shes annoying.
