Comment:

Dr. Igor is super nice and funny. He has a thick Russian accent and he enjoys making Russia comparisons. Homework is due once or twice a week. The tests and homework are exactly like example problems in class, so in my experience if you show up and pay attention, you'll learn everything you need for an A.

Dr. Igor was an amazing teacher for Calc 2. He's clear in his lectures, gives simple expectations with the homework, and the tests are easy to anticipate. If you don't do the homework, you won't pass. Plus, he has some great math jokes!

The material he teaches is challenging, but he is very knowledgeable about it and is willing to help if you go to his office hours. Also, he has incredibility neat handwriting and his accent shouldn't affect your ability to understand him. If he is ever teaching a course you need, take him!

I really loved Igor as a professor. He was incredibly helpful, and he's super passionate about math. Sometimes he's not very clear when lecturing. The homework is harder than the tests. Every time there is homework due, there is a quiz. He doesn't make it easy, but he is always there to help you.

I'm currently taking Dr. Igor for Calc II, and it's a pretty challenging course. However, Dr. Igor is a really great professor and tries very hard to make concepts simple and help students understand. He's Russian and has a pretty thick accent, but you get used to it. I'm taking him again next semester for DiffEQ.

Absolutely love Igor! He is so passionate about what he does in a funnydorky way. 3 exams, homework and a final. His homework isn't too bad, minus some proofs here and there but you can go ask for help during his office hours. He doesn't try to trick you on exams and he gives you a study guide and offers a study session too. Take him if you can!

You don't need the textbook because the pdf can be found online, but you do need some form of the textbook. Now to Igor, he may be one of my favorite teachers of all time. And everyone feels this way. Everyone loves Igor and Igor loves math and that's the best combination you can have. Take him if you ever get the chance to, no question about it

Great teacher. Very dedicated to his art and is extremely helpful. Always available in his office. Wants you to succeed. Exams are straightforward, slightly challenging. Keep up in class and you will do fine. I would recommend him and I am taking him again. Final exam above 95 gives you an A in the class.

This is one of the best professors I hv seen in TCU. His exams are not hard. All the exams problems are HW type. If u go to every class & do ur HW you can make an A. Don't ever skip his class. He made course look much more easier. He gives lot ways to make up ur grade, extra credit, grade replacements. You gotta take this guy.

This man is goofy and pretty funny. He is russian and his accent takes a little time to get used to, but it makes you pay attention to understand him which is good. not ridiculously hard and bery helpful. i enjoyed Dr. Igor a lot! had him for both calc 1 and diff eq he teaches diff eq the best its his fav class!

Took him for Diff. Eq. and he explains it well. Once you get over his thick russian accent, it becomes more clear. Tests aren't hard, but HW is graded extremely hard. Had a 95 test avg. but HW brought me down to a B.

A lot of homework, harshly graded (depends on TA, I got a harsh one). Igor explains well and is pretty funny. Makes fun of Dr. Addis! hah... Tests aren't bad although I did not like how he handled homework. He wouldn't fully explain homework problems in class, especially the hard ones (you can ask him in his office hours tho).

Igor is a good guy, he really cares that you learn the material. In the classes where the material is more abstract, it gets irritating when he fumbles over his words. He's helpful in office hours and exams are very similar to HW sets. He covers a lot of material in his classes so there's a lot to retain for the cumulative finals.
