Only one advice- DO NOT DISAGREE with the professor. Forget everything you have thought what business school should be like, it is not relevant with Ingo. He is a child with a temper, will not mind sending threats your way, I think that his only way to feel good about his lack of any contribution to your MBA journey. Avoid this madness

A Prof who is way more arrogant than needs to be, has offered little help for obstacles he has himself created for the students. Not approachable at all, even stooped down to threaten colleagues rather than helping. Would definitely recommend avoiding the professor at all costs if possible, has no sense of fairness.

Comment:

Ingo is all heart. He really cares about the idea he is trying to teach. It may come off as a bit wacky, but his course is an introduction to a very *complex* subject and he pulls it off in an engaging and interesting way. The group project can be hell. It can also be very rewarding. For the LDP - USE HIS LECTURE MATERIALS USE THE RUBRIC.

Comment:

One of the best professors I have ever had. He is incredibly skilled and educated, with very deep insightful view of leadership and management. This course can change one's perspective of the world and of the business.

There are many haters here but don't get it wrong. This is essentially a critical thinking class and many people just have wrong expection of the class. Many people overcare the industry knowledge; however, the goal here is not make realistic suggestion but practice challenge our own assumptions as well as think rationally in decision making.

Prof. Holzinger is an amazing teacher. He clearly cares about the subject matter and the students. The course is challenging and has the potential to change your perspective on not just leadership. BTW, I don't understand the hate that is spewed in some of the reviews. Prof. Holzinger definitely is more constructive and respectful in his feedback.

This professor is very subjective, in how he grades all the deliverables throughout the course. So, my advice to you would be to pretend that the class is interesting, and participate as much as you can. Once he perceives you as a good student, you are pretty much guaranteed to do well in the class. Do not ever disagree with him! Good Luck.

Literally the worst class I have ever taken! At best this is a pass/fail class that should last no longer than 3-5 hrs. If you have any work experience you will find this extremely angering and substabtially insulting. Good luck

Charismatic, which explains the positive reviews. Not receptive to views that challenge his own - if you want to pass, kiss ass on the assignments. Ambiguous about expectations - takes sick pleasure in you trying to figure it out. Course content is all stolen, but thinks he's visionary. 15% is Pareto's law, the rest 5 year old pop-psych.

Take these "I love Ingo so much" reviews with a heavy grain of salt. He doesn't want as much quality as he does quantity of participation. Students who go on and on about pointless thoughts get high participation marks, while students with succinct, insightful points are easily forgotten. It's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease with Ingo. Avoid

Ingo is the best professor in SSB. He is passionate and engaging. He knows every student personally and he is sharp and very inspirational. You are not allowed to state the obvious in his classes, and this is the reason I like his classes so much. If you speak for the sake of attention, he will immediately react and you will get in trouble.
