Easiest A ever. I never went to class ever and when i did i didn't do anything but sit there pick buggers and throw them at her. take this class for sure. You can literally never go to class and half ass the work and pull at least a B no doubt.. long live (the somehow doctor) lew

This class was just a mess. She really does just give out A's, but is so scattered! This was more of a history class than music. The final research paper is more complicated than need be. Asks too many questions; lots of awkward silence. Her grading system is whack. She's fun and nice, and it is an easy A, just prepare for lots of frustration.

I did not like her at all. Sometimes she was exremely bubbly but her tests didn't cover the same material that she did and she would often cancel classes. She also told us that online homework was required but then apparently she didn't check it. She wouldn't really work individually with me because she "didn't have the time".

Don't take this class unless you're interested in music because it is SOOO boring. She seems really nice and fun at first but after awhile she's so annoying and boring. Huge research paper and a bunch of other nonsense papers and presentations.

I got an A, but i'm telling you not to take her anyway. If you are just looking for the grade than absolutely take her but shes SO unorganized. She would always cancel class RIGHT before the period, her syllabus had both office hours and due dates "TBA". She's so scattered but I think she feels guilty and gives As out as freebies. UGH...

Amazing and fun professor! This class is a blast, unless you are of the shy persuasion. Very useful for future teachers early childhood and elementary who want to use music in their classroom. Great class to start your morning off with!

She is a really great professor! This is the class you want to take early in the morning because she has so much energy its going to set your day off on the right foot. She is really sweet and very funny. The class is easy to follow and stay on top of. The only people who fail are those who don't come to class. I highly recommend her!

Great teacher! Yes, an easy class to earn an "A" IF you work at it. Very energetic. Best teacher to start with at 9.30am in the morning. You leave the class in a much better mood.

The syllabus includes four tests but we only got around to two of them. There are a couple reports but nothing really hard. I'm not a music major but this class was pretty fun. We played with the drums and sang and danced a lot. She's the sweetest, cutest little woman in the world!

Comment:

Dr.Lew's world music class is awesome! We did not just read from our text, but we got to sing, dance (yea!) and play music from different cultures. I can't sing to save my life, but she made the class feel so welcomed -- i was singing away!! Wish she were teaching more classes. She is the only jewel in the Music Department!
