Everything in this class was done on computers so it was a little confusing at times because she wanted things done a certain way. Overall she is a very easy professor and gives us so much extra credit that it is impossible to fail. It's an easy A.

honestly its an easy class to pass but her attitude is just insanely terrible , she is not helpful when you ask her questions and she just snaps very easily . Shes rude ! Definitely hate waking up every Monday morning and coming to her class first thing In the morning cause you have to deal with attitude and bitterness . Ugh

Comment:

I had Jackie Hams for Ocean lab and I can't complain. Yes she can be grouchy sometimes but the class was super easy, mostly in-class technology activities with maps or the NOAA website. My favorite part of the class is that you could take field trips and write papers if you skipped regular classes. I totally went to the aquarium and science center.

She's one of the worst teachers I've unfortunately taken, thanks to her my gpa is ruined. I wouldn't recommend taking her, and like a previous student mentioned people were afraid to ask her a question because she doesn't like to be bothered. Save yourself the headache and take someone who's an actual professor.

Do not take a class with this teacher. I dont even want to go back to school at all because the experience was so terrible. It was like someone gave her the PowerPt lecture but she knows nothing about the subject. She is very rude and gets annoyed with questions. People were actually fearful to ask her questions about the final project.

She is very nice professor. I really enjoyed her as an individual. She is very strict to those who do not attend. She doesnt play sometimes. Everything is done online. I thought I would hate that but I actually ended up loving it!

They are not kidding when they say 'take someone else', took this class because others said that on quizzes she allows unlimited tries and there is lots of ec. While there are quite a few ec assignments- she no longer allows unlimited tries. You get two. She just goes over ppt and that's the extent of her teaching. You don't need the book

This was the EASIEST class I have ever taken. Her lectures can be a little lengthy but other than that it's very easy. She gives a ridiculous amount of extra credit. The assignments were almost all done in class, and the mid term and final ARE THE SAME QUESTIONS FROM THE QUIZZES! VERBATIM!! Put in the minimal amount of effort and you will be fine.

You'll have an easy quiz every other week where you can guess as many times as you want. No homework at all. MidTerm/Final are questions from each quiz that you get to study. Easy Final. The professor isn't as mean as people make her out to be. Her class is extremely easy. Passing with an A, but I don't think I've learned a whole lot.

RUDE!! If you ask a simple question she will treat you like an ignorant child. You're better off finding out whatever it is you want to know on your own unless you want to feel belittled and dull witted. Do the online quizzes and assignments and the class should breeze, but at the price of a crude professor.

You must be on time to class! if you are late she will kick you out and close the door behind you. Very informative. Must take lab along with lecture, i wasn't aware of this. Get ready to work, don't slack off. She is a nice, strict professor. You work for the grade you receive.
