Not a difficult class if you put a little effort into it. Weekly 4 question quizzes.. not hard if you just read the chapter summaries in the textbook. weekly group work, which at times takes too long to answer.. nevertheless you learn a good amount and she has a lot of experience.

I was very disappointed with this class. Professor Haviland-Jones is brilliant but very self-involved. She would spend about 2 out of the 3 hour class side-tracking and mostly talking about her personal experiences that had virtually nothing to do with the class. It's no wonder everyone was so confused about how to do the final paper...

This is by far easiest class EVER at Rutgers. Simple two question quizzes every lecture, one presentation, and an post exam. No midterm or final unless you want to take them to boost your grade. Prof HJ herself is extremely nice and very fair. Overall, a must take with her.

Believe everything you've read about this woman. This class was so easy. Anyone who happened to get below an A is certifiably mentally challenged. Easy quizzes, easy groupwork. A **** course, but you end up learning a lot. She's a cooky little middle-aged lady, but a goddess nonetheless.

Haviland is definitely the way to go for adol. dev. 2 question quiz each class which everyone cheats on and no one cares, group work each class which is easy, midterm and final are optional. Lowest 4 scores dropped. Very easy A. I never opened the book once and got my A.

pretty easy class...she always has a lot of stories to tell...four tests during the semester including the final..tests are short (only 20-30 questions)...make sure you do the extra credit because it really takes the pressure off doing well on the exams..
